How in the world do you beat this guy? I just unlocked ultimate ruins yesterday and Im level 110 HUmar. My EDK is up to 83 and when he shoots his rifle I die in one hit!
I know im not at a low level because my dad has a level 131 HUmar and he dies too, but not all the time! How do I beat this guy?

I believe its special attack always does exactly 1300 damage...
So you probably want to stay clear of that until you get your HP high enough...

1400 (at least thats it online).
and, try to do a wide circle around it while it charges and shoots at you. it should be no problem when its the bringer and you in the room.
now its a completely different story when its you vs. a bringer, a sorc and a delsaber >_>

good luck

Yeah, Bringer is one of those guys with fixed damage with his rifle shots. Same for the little Death Gunners and Gilchic/Gilchich laser blasts. Think Nano dragon seeking beam is fixed as well.

Anyhow, to beat him, just uh.. dodge the rifle shots? Then wail on him after? Haha.

If you're doing solo, feel free to cast Jellen and Zalure on him with your HUmar to take less damage from his other attacks as well as inflict more damage to him.

Whoa, your dad plays too?!?!

Yeah running in circles is the best bet. Though I have heard that his shot is as powerful as the mst your character has, Im not sure about that though.

No, that MST thing is totally false. His shot always does the same amount of damage. How much it does is only affected by the difficulty mode and whether or not you're playing online.

Bringer does 1400 fixed, regardless of DFP, res, or MST. Just try to anticipate this shot (after the nova-like energy drains your TP), preferably before. The bringer's body gradually turns from a green to yellow, to red. Once it's red, it seems to be more likely to shoot.

Off-topic: I might change my avatar, heh..

It does 1200 or so offline, 1400 online.

And you're right about the colours.

Pierce attacks are pretty evil >_< too bad EDK is only used to protect against instant death techniques (Megid, and weapons with Dim/Dark/Hell effects)
May I recommend a weapon that might immobilize him in some way? Like a paralysis or freeze weapon. Or if all else fails, Zalure and whip out the Vulcans @_@

If that were the case, think of those poor little FOs with the high MST and low HP. It would be like http://pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_bondage.gif

If you're a hunter, or are already up close to him, Ijust try and stay at his blind spot (to his side), pull up the symbol chat/menu so that you'll continue to run, rather than walk. And keep at his side till he leaves himself open when he's swinging or charging with his rifle. You'll be able to get some shots in. Wait till he fires all 3 rifle shots and do your combo. Repeat till he's down. Plus, his rifle can never hit from were you're standing.

If you see him in the distance, he'll usually run/charge you. If you're a ranger and like to keep him at that distance, doing some small damage is enough to distract him from charging you. I like rifles, pistols, or foie since they have a good range. Keep distracting him till he himself charges and shoots out all 3 shots (be sure you run in a large circle around him to avoid getting hit). Afterwards, he's wide open for a combo.

Anyway...

For everytime he gets his shot ready..he stills TP. Now you can imagine...TTF Ruins really sucks in this aspect.

I'm a 130 HUmar and I take them down with relative ease. DO this. Let them chrage but move out of the way and unleash a quick combo with a double-saber type weapon. Or, just shoot him with guns often. He has a rapid swing with his weapon so avoid being anywhere remotely in front of him. I hope this helped.

You will find the enemy that is being talked about in this thread in Ultimate Ruins.

The Ultimate version of the Bringer has been available since v2.

Try to use the resta-dodge trick.

I believe most people will find it easier to DODGE the Bringer blast than it would be to do the Resta Dodge trick.

The only time a person should actualy die to the Bringer blast is if they are being distracted by another enemy or went AFK...

or when they use Pwand or dark bridge as a force.

then he drains HP as well

In that particular case, it is very to unequip your weapon since it is extremely obvious he is going to do his Bringer blast attack.
