Is it true now that duping, FSOD, and all the other glitchy things that were the bain of the previous PSO's, have they finally all been rectified? Has hacking struck BB yet? ANyone want to take a shot at when it will hit?

Don't get your hopes up yet. There are hackers hacking Blue Burst as we speak. Nothing big has happened yet but it's still only a matter of time.

Oh be quiet for once, and stop eagerly anticipating the downfall of good, kind players.

There are GM's and everyone has their guildcard numbers floating over their heads on this version. Cheaters can and will be stopped.

Not if nobody cares enough to do something about it. The hackers will get the better of Blue Burst, just as they have with all other PSO versions. Sounds like it's already starting, you just don't see it through all the people on the servers.

there have been some serious exploits taking place lately. one is instant trigger of PB (over and over), one is a bypass that allows to change your level client side. blablabla.

I don't believe any of that. How often have hackers made up a "fake" hack to scare players? There's anti-cheating software running in the background on this game that is supposed to be very hard to crack, so I was, why is cheating still happening?

Gameguard/nProtect has been available for some time now,and is featured in a free game known as Gunbound.Since its free to DL and play,it is very popular to hack.As a result there is alot of knowledge in the area of both bypassing and removing the cheat protection as it is essentially the same.

Even games such as World of Warcraft, and EQ have always had cheating. With games on PC ,and so much being server side it is often easy to patch cheats, thus people are not so forthgiving with the knowledge of how/what to do.To beleive that it totally doesn't exist is somewhat ignorant however.

I don't recall ForceOfBrokenGlass saying that they wanted it to happen, merely warning the original poster not to get too comfortable quite yet.

You obviously hadn't heard of all the shit happening to the JP version.

Yes, BB is patchable. But patchable does not mean unhackable.

EDIT: P.S. RedSchwar, I'm not a hacker, nor pro-cheating, since it seems you assume that a lot with posts made that don't favor your argument. So don't bother calling me one if you respond.
