Gene FLOW

I have heard alot of things about the Paracetic gene FLOW and i was wonderign what was true. I have heard that ORAN has a 30% chance of finding it on ultimate and everyone else has a 7% chance of finding it. I have also hear that the drop rate is 0 so noone can find it. What is the real deal about the gene FLOW.

for v3, aka ep1+2, there is no drop rate for the gene..
all the genes out there are hacked into the game

The gene is not findable and never has been.
Olga Flow is supposed to drop it, and the IDs that find it from him have it set at around a 1/64 rate, but that's assuming that he drops an item at all. Since Olga doesn't drop items offline and hasn't been enabled to online, the gene is not findable. This also goes for the Red Ring from Dark Falz.

As said above, all the genes and items resulting from the genes (Dark Flow, Dark Bridge, etc) that are floating around the game were/are hacked.

I found a way to get it without hacking or using AR or anything like that. I don't know if it is considered exposing a glitch in the game but if you want to know e-mail me

It's a simple glitch. And it's not really breaking any rules. all you do is kill yourself at the same time killing olga flow. then return to the field.
: If this is really breaking the rules, someone edit this out then.

At least that's how people claim it can be found. I don't know if it works or not

The problem I have with that is, if it were to drop, it would drop as any other boss, IE after the death cutscene. And it doesn't, like it shouldn't, given the DAR. Returning to the field isn't going to do anything but lose your Mag syncro. Of course, it sounds more feasible to do that then say, use Dark weapons and try to see if Rico drops it (which also wouldn't work, for similar reasons). Sorry, but unless and until I see someone reliable post a Fraps or something of said event, I'm not going to believe it.

Who knows if it works? I have no idea how to hack so I might try it when I can (die when flow dies), but right now I can't because I'm a level 115 FOmar so I'd die before I get to barba ray. My brother won't play so There's no way I can check it out right now.

Tehre have been people around here that have done multiple multiple runs and gotten nothing. Which makes sense. The game just isn't coded that way, and there is *no* reason for them to have done so. And you wouldn't die when Falz/Flow dies, but after. You throw on Parasite Wear or Berserk and such, let the HP drain kill you.

Berserk can't kill you because I tried it with my soul eater when I first got it but I don't know about the parasite wear because I don't think you can find parasite cell d offline. I can't go online because my mom won't let me, but when the revolution comes out I'll be able to wirelessly.Also in case you were wondering poison can't kill you either and I found that out the first time I went to caves.

Theoretically, you can kill yourself using something like the Luminous Field or Soul Banish. However, that would just be a waste of time. The "dying at Olga" theory has been out for quite sometime now and numerous people have tried it without finding anything.

I'm not exactly sure what you are talking about. The theory that was being discussed is dying after Olga Flow dies, not at the same time.

Well then maybe I just made a new theory and besides it will be hard to time it right anyway if you would look at it and think oh, well that sounds pretty hard to do.

berserk cant kill you (as said above) and nor can poison (also dont know about parasite wear)

but me being an offline user.... know that Orotiagito special CAN kill you... but i doubt it would work anyways... so ya... but feel free to try,
