I cant get online full stop cause it says theres a problem with the cable or my phoneline?

I have recently changed from bt to ntl but not sure if thats the problem or what

OK, I have no idea what bt or ntl is. However, that error sounds to me like:


The phone line is unplugged
You have the wrong isp info put into your dreamcast.

so do i need to reset my dreamcast data then?

Sounds like you switched isp's. So you have to find a game (like the 2k series, or a web browser) that lets you change the isp info. Then change the info from your old isp to your new one.

Yeah I think RBF is right, the same thing happened with my friend and thats exactly what we had to do. Give it a try, if it doesn't work I have no clue.

I have just removed my dreamcast data and am trying to re register but it says lines busy all the time and i have not noted my username or password.
