ah, the wonder of mauling teddies, whatching demons shove cigars up their ass, frenchies being slaughtered, giant singing poo, and all to get tanked by a squirrel

This game...

...HAS NO FRENCHIES!=o Im pretty sure anyway, since they revamped the multiplayer modes.

>=3 I havent been playing the single player much, I got up to Spooky and am intimidated to do it, because back when I played it at 12 I remember the zombies scared me. T_T;

I was scared of letting Mario die when I had my first video game. Super Mario 64. I was watching someone play, and they stayed underwater for too long, and Mario drowned. At the time, I thought the sight was incredibly horrible. When I was playing Super Mario 64, Mario never died again.

And then, in Super Mario 64 DS, I used Luigi to do that one because he swims the fastest and get away...actually...I used him to do almost all of the stars in that level...

Mario 64 was your very first videogame?

My first videogame was Tetris for the Gameboy. And I was afraid that the blocks were going to kill Ted... Oh wait, no that was something else entirely... Got two days mixed up there. And about that eel... I have his head mounted on my wall.

I can't remember what we had first - the NES or the Gameboy. I get the feeling that the NES was our first video game system, though.

Good ol' Mario Bros./Duck Hunt.

It just made me realize that there are people on this site who most likely grew up during the N64/PSX generation of consoles and knew them as their first real foray into gaming.

It scares me in some ways, and makes me feel really old in others.

I grew up with the N64, only because my parents didn't want to buy the SNES http://pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_frown.gif N64 rocked everything http://pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_wacko.gif

So you never played Yoshi's Island or Earthbound? No Chrono Trigger or Uniracers or Star Fox?

Did you ever play Final Fantasy II or III or maybe Secret of Mana? At least you've played Megaman X, right?

Played Yoshi's Island never finished it (PSO was waiting!), started on Secret of Mana but I played Word of Mana on my GBA already so it's still there... as a ROM on my school account. I didn't like the first few levels of Megaman X so I stopped (I know I'm weak), actually I hate every Megaman game I've played =/. I've never even bothered with the Final Fantasy series, maybe FF I and VII someday... We, of the noob/young/whaterver generation, are not all graphics lovers y'know http://pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_wacko.gif
