Dragon Slayer

I've been looking around on FAQs and such, and I read somewhere that the Dragon Boss drops a Dragon Slayer after you beat him on Hard. I have now done this SIX TIMES, and still no sword. In fact, I've actually seen it drop a DiFluid once, and even a Monomate. I'm wondering if this is a normal occurance for everyone, since my friend said it dropped a Dragon Slayer two out of the five times he killed it. Does this inability to find it have anything to do with my SectionID? Or am I just really unlucky? Any help would be much appreciated.

Jherek, I think it may be related to the Section ID of the HOST of the game. I am a Whitill and swords are not my specialty. I have beaten the dragon on hard several times (in games I hosted) and still no dragon slayer. Although, I was lucky enough to pull a parasite wear:de rol le in the Caves, but my Netzero was laggin so I couldn't pick it up. Some lucky bastard snagged it. (I now use JUNO!!!!!) Anyways, I guess we need to find a Skyly? Who knows? Keep us posted if u finally pull one!

I have defeated the Dragon on Hard, about 4 times, and 3 of those times he has dropped a Dragon Slayer. My section ID is Redria. I have one in storage that I'm not using, it's a just a slayer with no plusses. The one I have equipped is Slayer +9 http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/icon_smile.gif Maybe I'm just lucky to come across these swords or maybe not, if you would like, I could give ya my extra, or go on a run together to the Dragon, by chance he might drop it.

I am also redria and I got a dragon slayer when I beat him in a game I started but in the previous 4 attempts (someone elses game) there was no dragon slayer

Thanks for the advice everyone. I think I might just be unlucky, but I have noticed that my SectionID (YELLOWBOZE) seems to give me a lot of Fluids and magic weapons, as well as tons of disks. This is really bad for me, being a HUCast, and I have no use for any of it. Might have to fine most of my better stuff online. I'll probably be online tonight, Ate-Ball, at about 8-10 PM EST. I hang out in Puck 9, like most of us here in PSO World. By the way, Lugnut, I was offline when I beat the Dragon, so the host ID did not make a difference in this situation.

You are Yellowboze? I am also Yellowboze! I created a game on hard difficulty yesterday and I found a dragon slayer when I killed the dragon! Maybe I just got lucky... but apparently, it is possible for a Yellowboze to find a dragon slayer!

Well, It took 13 tries, but I spent most of the afternoon killing the Dragon Boss over and over and over again, and I finally got the damn thing to drop a Dragon Slayer. The sad thing is, after all that work, I can't equip it, and it'll be a while until I can. At least I gained some levels in the process. Once again, thanks to everyone for all their input.

By the way, I'll be changing my Nickname to UtherPendrgn (the name of my HUCast) soon, so if you see any posts by that name, keep in mind that it's your old friend Jherek!

I just got my two ORAN SectionID characters over lvl 20 and into Hard mode online. All three times they have beaten the dragon, a dragon slayer was dropped although, my characters couldn't equip it so gave it to the others. http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/icon_smile.gif

From my experience I never got a Dragon Slayer while playing online hard. Offline hard it dropped one every time.

Same with the paraiste wear...

YES. I was currently playing online a little while ago and was with a party of four and we beat the dragon. It drpped the Dragon Slayer +9 except I cannot use it. Dumb x's.

As a Whithill I have picked up three of them already. I know that at least two of them I was playing multiplayer, but for all Whithills out there your chance should be good.

Do we have a place where we can enter our section ID and any rare items that we picked up during single player mode?

I've gotten double sabers and DelSaber's Right Arm playing single player a lot. Even on normal mode.
