Uncle... try GameStop stores... they have them, used mind you, for like... $20 I think. The one around here had about 30 or so of them used... And new, hrm, Wal Mart had a closeout on them in favor of the SP for $35 each but they were all the pink ones. >_>

I remember a set of Blue GBA, E-reader, and e-reader cards for $80 at Target like 6 months or so ago.

Looked nice but I had a GBA SP already. Also e-reader cards were on clearance, stand alone e-reader too.

I would practically be killed if I asked for a $250 device since I couldn't keep quiet in the backseat if I was that age.

SIMPLE!

Uncle Bob: SP's dominated the original GBA's. (WHich, now the DS dominates the SP...almost.) So, it; being that the GBA was made in 2001 and the SP a few years later; being 2005, it would be very hard to find an original GBA. Only place youll find them is at Gamestop, EB, pawn shops (you can find treasures in pawn shops..if you know where to look.) and target.

As for a family buying 3 PSP's, dvd player and an i pod. Its simple, its advertisement. That whats makes most People these days stupid because they think "OH! Those people mustve spent thousands to get all that, and still have smiles on their face. Maybe if I spend my money, and get into an unescapable dept, Ill be happy too!"
Its how comapanies get their money.
