View Full Version : Dear FKL,

Outrider
Jul 10, 2005, 10:41 PM
How are you all doing? I've been fine. I'm sorry we haven't spoken recently. I've been busy. You know, the usual things. I have a job in a warehouse doing inventory and then sitting at a workbench playing Solitaire. It's alright. It's kind of like being in a Resident Evil game except with a lot less zombies to shoot and a lot more crate-pushing puzzles. I'm either tired or trying to squeeze in a social life when I get home afterwards, so I don't spend much time on the internet. I don't even check Penny-Arcade more than once or twice a week. I figure I'll be doing that again a lot when I get back to school, y'know? But anyway, we should catch up. You can tell me how the family is doing. We should get together sometime soon. Do you want to meet for lunch sometime next week? We could maybe hit that cafe on the corner. It'll be my treat.

Your friend,

Outrider

Dear Outrider,

Your message got eaten by the internet and I didn't get to read it. Damn that internet.

Ok.

I get how you feel; I nap for 2 hours when I get home from working all day. The internet is too much work.

Dear Outrider,

Having read about you're current circumstances we've come to our conclusion and that conclusion is final.

We here at Fresh Kills Landfill work as a unit and will not accept anything less than 100% to our cause. Although you appear dedicated we can't help but feel that you let small things like 'your life' get in the way of the bigger picture. Your Commitments all lie the wrong places.
So it comes with great sadness that we regret to inform you (after a heated discussion from both sides) that we're going to 'Have to let you go.'

Clear out you're desk and be off the premises within the next hour.

Yours, Old man Kiz.

Man, Outrider.
That sounded like life in Shenmue 2(DC/XBOX). http://pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_eek.gif

Warehouse job, moving crates. Arcade/social life.

Anyways, get back to us whenever you can, we'll hold down the fort for you.

Currently a topic arose out of "Who is actually as cool or cooler than Outrider?" "Someone with blue hair? Outrider with blue hair?"

I joked along but next time I'll try to uphold your honor of coolest guy around here.

"Too cool for a girlfriend?" Check.

Hurry back soon, lest everyone forget about you and your coolness.

Best of luck,
Hayabusa.

You seem to forget that it isn't proven to succesfully escape FKL alive, even when they think they left it there was still a part of FKL left in their brain. He'll come back, they always do.

An interesting point you have made my good man. But you've overlooked one very important factor.
like you said, no one has successfully escaped FKL wiilingly, but then again no one has been 'fired' from the premises before.
The guy has no other choice but to go cold turkey regardless of what he wants.
He was a good man. We shared some good times.
I'll miss him.

And in a plot twist worthy of M. Night Shyamalan, I now deem myself as Outrider's temporary replacement until a more suitable candidate is found.

Just like when a popular TV series replaces one of you're favourite characters with a new actor, you'll grow to love me.

Nope, I just boycott the show and hate everything after the new actor was introduced.

You will get no love from me, Mr Kiz.

Bah! You're all human equivalents of sheep! One dislikes the idea and you all follow suit. http://pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_wacko.gif

When I'm bathing with bikini clad beauties and fronting the new million dollar Pepsi ad campaign, I'll ask my P.A to make a brief comment about you all in my bestselling Autobiography 'From Old man to Cool Dude'.

I was thinking about something like that, but...
The R disappears.
Though since I was messing with the e and a and such earlier, probably doesn't matter so much ;o
