Cowboy Bebop Session 1 DVD was $24 while Session 3 was $11.

I was surprised at the price drop for #3 and was thinking about getting it for a while even at $24, so I picked that up. Already have #6(the last 4 episodes).

What kind of weird pricing is this?
Best Buy, you suck.
You suck for charging $200 for the 9 disc Trigun boxset too, when online stores and other places easily charge in the $150 range.

I suck for not already having these darned DVD's, whatever the price is. http://pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_biggrin.gif

Now ignore my blogging and get with the spamming? http://pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_wacko.gif

On eBay? Or at the Best Buy?

I saw a box set of Evangelion, with a large sticker on the package saying "BEST ANIME SERIES OF ALL TIME."

I picked it up but failed to see a price tag. http://pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_disapprove.gif
Apologies Jin. Next time, I'll check it next time.
Also the online prices are different than in stores prices, which sucks popsicles. http://pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_wacko.gif

Nah, forget it, no prob. I can get it for 19 bucks here in the local shop, just wondered if it were lower by those places. But with shipping and all... Will cost the same.

You waste money on bootlegs? Forshame.
It shows how much you care, which isn't a bad thing. http://pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_wacko.gif

I'll be buying the official stuff thank you very much, and I'm not the only one who does. Hmmph. *crosses arms in disgust* http://pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_biggrin.gif

More like $120 baby!

And some poor poor souls spend 0 on them. How terrible. Shows how much they care as well.

hayabusa, next time you end up in san diego, go to mission valley mall. there is a place called rising sun imports.

it is like heaven.

trigun 3 dvd set (whole series-trust me) = 39.99
FLCL = 19.99
evangelion = 29.99 (whole series)

I prefer to wait until Adult Swim picks it up, I notice after they run the series for the second time, and they suddenly switch the line-up, resulting in me not seeing the last episode.

Holey moley! http://pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_eek.gif @ digigram

I know there have been the Geneon releases of Trigun, two of them in seperate years, and the box set of 9 was a different company I think. 3 disc boxset I've never heard of.

I'll definitely have to check that out next time I'm down there. Very nice and affordable prices!

@ Solstis

Which series? Bebop?
They seriously ran the whole thing through for almost a whole year, last year. Like it was one of their few Adult Swim shows. They've since gotten much more shows and I've noticed they run it every now and then, silently. And then poof, its off the air again.

Same with Trigun now. Like one day a week, last time I checked.

Too bad you didn't catch the ending before it got pulled. http://pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_frown.gif

Why buy something you are unsure you will like when you can "obtain" it other ways for free? http://pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_wacko.gif

I thouroughly agree that you should have enough interest in something before you buy it, but It doesn't apply to me here. http://pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_biggrin.gif

I know what I like and I'll buy what I feel like! http://pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_wacko.gif
Or something like that. Maybe I mixed that phrase up.

See also borrowing friend's, watching on TV first, etc.

Darn pirates! Always after that booty. Always! http://pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_nono.gif

Actually, I've bought more now since that. And I have been searching for FLCL in stores but alas I must stick with the manga and AVIs.

And, damn right about the booty. Hey, even pirates need a little action every now and then.

Err, *cough*
Those "Pirating" "pirates". http://pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_lol.gif http://pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_wink.gif

No more discussion on this, yeah.
Someone is gonna screw it up and get this locked by discussing warez and such. So yeah, this wasn't what the topic was orginally about.

I wasn't complaining that certain things cost money(and the inevitable "ooh you can gets for free!" responses), just that specific items within the set somehow cost more, for no reason at all.

Moving along.
FLCL is pretty cool. I didn't know it was rare, so thanks for the insight, and another reason to check out the San Diego store digigram mentioned, no?

Too bad I live about 4000 miles away from San Diego.

I did pick up the first soundtrack but haven't seen the second. The manga though is everywhere here. So I got that to tide me over until I can find the DVD set.
