Doom3 is great, if you have the duct tape mod for it. Actually, even then it is mediocre at best. Doom II was a far better game. I wonder how much the console version was watered down to run on Xbox?

Doom 3's gameplay is great because you need to swap the flashlight with weapons. Infact, I'm getting used to doing it. I'm even getting used to the odd grenades.

Graphics? Eh, I can barely run PSO on my computer, and Mel got me the Collector's Edition of Doom 3, and having a blast.

My point is, Doom3 has some of the best lighting of any of the games currently out. How do they show it off? By having tons of dark rooms with no lights. A complete waste if you ask me. Which is such a pity. All the little visuals, as in the details, can make it worth to play through again to see what you missed the first time. Doom3 kinda... well, it is hard to miss what few things are in the light.
