There's many holes to fill with details, but like any RPGish game they usually mean gold pieces/gold coins/gold mesetas(lolz?).

And how could anyone carry 500Gold bars around to a local armor and item pouch store.

Also what were the other items we could buy if we only bought the item pouch?
