I've been following this game for ages, since it was one of the "Capcom Five" set of games, which included:

Resident Evil 4
Viewtiful Joe
Dead Phoenix (cancelled)
P.N. 03
Killer 7

The early trailers for it were mind-boggling, and the later ones were just trippy as hell. So, naturally, I want to play it now that it's out. I know it's a track-based game, which concerns me, but I bet I could get used to controls like that. >_>;

Don't believe the reviews. The people who review these games are ignorant cocksuckers who were expecting this to be HALO on acid. It's on-rails to keep your mind focused on what it NEEDS to be for this game, the storyline. Presentation is everything, Story is first and gameplay comes second.

Also, I would suggest you purchase asap. Capcom isn't seeing numbers that they want to and we could be seeing quite the shortage in copies very soon.

And yes, mindboggling it is. BUT ISN'T IT JUST SO WONDERFUL?!

If I wanted a great story I'd go read a book or watch a good movie or something.

I don't think every reviewer out there based their ratings on whether this compared to Halo. And I do know about anything with a gun/FP view being compared to Halo.

I take most reviews with a grain of salt. Like read many reviews from a person, and if they have the same sort of preferences about game genres then I'll take em more seriously.

Some people don't like bad gameplay is all and they just start babbling on about whatever after they point out that they didn't like it.

I'm all for supporting Capcom and all, but after a billion MegaMan/Street Fighter games, it does get old.

I had a bit of trouble finding a copy of JSRF (I got lucky, found a like-new copy FROM A GUY IN MY TOWN for 10 bucks), so I certainly don't want this to happen again. o_o;

I mean, there were plenty of copies left to buy at full price at the store. And I don't rent many games to begin with so I'll look at the rent shops first unless there's a big price drop or something.

And ever rent a game, only to never be able to buy it at a store that specifically sells them(sold out) (and the renting store would never sell their copy unless the systems "died" or they had to make room for more new games)?
