yea, i dont know if this counts as a rant or just spam, but none the less, i need to get some of this stuff out.

There something about me? >> why wont Anyone play with me? I would like to level and get to ult, but, not the only thing stopping me is 2 person doors. Sure i get the occasional ppl, but they have things to do, so they dont play much, but i must say or do something to have so many guild cards and not one person would like to play. Just like it was on GameCube, no one would play sept a few ppl, and they werent on much, im forced to play by myself, and sure, i COULD go into random games and play with ppl, but, no thats just not me, in the end i wont see them anymore, i see them once and never hear from them again. I feel forgoten. Just something you can say no to and i cant say no. Im too nice for my own good. idk what to do anymore...i feel lost. like someone dropped me and im being walked all over. i dont know why im like this, maybe just that Time of month or something u.u;; and after getting that out and not bottling up how i feel anymore helps too..

but the fact is, i spend alot of time online, and maybe 1% of that time is actually spent with someone..i stopped asking to play with People, because most would say they would play, and end up not, or leaving because they really didnt want to play in the first place. im on an Online game, and no one wants to play with me? i guess im just gonna stick with that occasional person, at least he actually wants to play with me..

Yeah, PSO lasts about as long as you want it to, or as long as your online pals/friends last.

It takes some time to make new friends who you often play with and are around online together a lot.

I made good friends even when I was a cheater running around on DC with the 180% Spread Needles in v1. http://pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_frown.gif
I gave up cheating to hang around them and we played together for months.

It just takes some time.

Player Matchup forum can be of help here at PSOW.

And watch how many responses/PM's you get to play together online with just making this topic, no? http://pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_biggrin.gif

What reasons do they give for not playing? (on GC)

Are you on a team? A big one? (on BB)

Check out the BB teams with many active players maybe? http://pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_wink.gif guild card trade better safe than sorry-soona as possible? Mail em?

they didnt play with me on GC, i havent a clue why. They did alot at first, but now not one of them play sept like tact or My friend.

As for my BB team, it has reached its 10 member limit and some of which dont come on too often. I wouldnt say we are a big team, since 4 of the members are doing all the work. but its a good team non the less

still, only the Co-leader plays with me, and he is the occasional person.

if you tell me what ship/block your in (and youre outside of ult) ill join you, its getting really annoying to find a game in v.hard and I really hate soloing..

I'm actually in the same boat here. I've met quite a few people, exchanged guild cards and what not, but haven't heard a peep out of them about actually playing. I'm kind of used to it by now though, so I make the best out of soloing my way up to Ult. Other than Majiteque of course.. he and I play together whenever we're on at the same time.

Most of the time I am on, I find no one else either. Except for the two people that usually do play with me Aerin (ladyredcomet) and Tosh (some smarty pants in psow). Other than that I know a lot of people but they are always either cmoding or hunting for things, in full teams, etc etc. It is just the luck of the draw at times. So cheer up, I rather doubt it is a personal thing. More of a timing thing. http://pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_smile.gif

thats what everyone says, "its bad timing on your part" or something of that nature... i know it can be bad timing, but all the time?! for a month?! Im went back to GC today, to see if anyone would play or something, maybe even talk..none really =/ maybe i should just stick with the one time ppl and be nnice to the random ones...i dont know what to do anymore..

I'm sorry, but if I'm not on BB right now it's not because I don't like playing with you as you probably know, it's just that I avoid the computer during summer, kinda.

You're not a bad person to play with, you know that. Nobody avoids you, and if they do, it's their loss. You are quick to make friends, so don't worry about it.

Besides, the internet connection on where I'm at right now is REALLY slow, and could take me a week to find out how to get BB.

But as soon as I get it, I'll be there. http://pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/anime2.gif

For some reason I find during the summer time I play less online then when I play any other times.

I cancelled my JP BB account so I may head to US BB one day, still not sure though >_>.

Some people may prefer to play alone or do the offline quest since BB have no offline mode and plus I bet most are too busy with ult to help >_>

Hi Shiva http://pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_wink.gif
I was there on the day you returned to GC, well you know that of course. And I would say it is definitely mostly a bad-timimg thing.
>_> And on that day the bad timing was on my part u_u because I caught you while you were in a full team, so I couldn't join you.
I hope you know that you will always have friends around. And maybe you are right and it's only a very small group, but having a few good friends beats having a vast group of casual friends.
And I hope that you will still decide to be on GC for another month. http://pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_smile.gif

have you taken this to Uforce?
Here, i offer a solution. Do you have any friends near you who play PSO? if not, in vite some buddies over, make new characters on a new memory card, and teach them how to play offline. thats what i did, and im lovin it!

well guys, im actually alot better, not as Depressed. actually, im alot more relxaded, maybe i was stressed. and what not. but, im alot better, im so relaxed. and im in "ah~" from seeing my colege, i cant wait to start <3 and for the fact i "was" alone. i looked at it, and im really not. i just wasnt seeing that, and it took some words from a special someone to actually get to me. so i will stick to the ppl who really care, and i will contiue to be happy http://pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/anime1.gif

I can relate. Ahhhh the PSO:BB JP days. I'm sure Ian can really relate. He was always bitching about no one playing with him to get him into ultimate. >_>

I still get it now on ffxi. starting of with smaller classes is so hard to get a party, especially with a warrior. who the hell wants a half ass damage dealer when you can get some guy with shiny ass armor and a sword twice the size of his body. :< I guess it's something to live with in all mmorpg.

Glad to see, since there didn't seem to be any real reason why people weren't playing together with you and you seemed like you were making excuses about it instead, sorry to say.

With in-game Simple Mail, Meet User, lobby chat, team chat, PSOW PM's, internet e-mails, IM chats, #psow channel chats, there are plenty of ways to talk to people about meeting up/playing together.

Saying they gave no reason why they won't play with you is just like leaving something out. :/

Currently in a full team, hunting something, solo-questing, about to log off, in(timed) challenge mode etc. are reasons, valid or invalid. I doubt they outright ignored a Simple Mail with no reply, or if you met them in a lobby they didn't say anything and just left you hanging there or DC'ed.

to be honest, i was probably being impatient, and overthinking things(like always) and the fact i stopped asking to play with ppl =/ but its all good, leaving the game unpassworded makes great for random ppl http://pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_wacko.gif

Oh noes! http://pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_eek.gif

Don't leave open games(especially so in GC PSO) unless you're in an uncrowded area.

Suffice to say, this was always a bad idea when I played PSO. People would come in NOL me, FSOD me, BSOD me, etc.(DC online)

but if you're capable of handling it, or are on a safer/uncrowded server(PSO:BB is better than GC no?), then its fine. http://pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_smile.gif

I don't find fault with you for saying you stopped bugging people to play with you, or overthinking things when you log on for a while and nobody mails/meets up with you. I was like that too.

But as always, a small- "tight knit" group of friends will help keep you playing PSO for a long time. http://pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_biggrin.gif

When I can't find anyone I sometimes try making a game without a password. Usually that will be at an akward time so there aren't many people online anyway. So very often no one joins. And luckily the worst happening so far is someone joining who I don't like, so I have to make up an excuse to leave XD No sudden FSOD's or worse so far. http://pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_biggrin.gif

The same situation will also make me join random games without a password. And sometimes that is a great way to make new friends =)

And I'm glad you are happy again,, Shiva.

heh, yea, i dont like to be sad http://pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_razz.gif so im happy for that too http://pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_wacko.gif but i leave open games in both GC and BB

on GC cus, i honestly dont care if im FSODed, i mean, wow you logged me off =/ i only use one wep, and due to that i loose nothing. so if im FSODed, i laugh. the buzzing freezy sound from FSOD is kinda funny http://pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_wacko.gif and for some reason i know a couple of hackers and made good friends with them, seems most have troubles =O so i get to help them =D but i watch what i say, cus i dont like being FSODed while im trying to help =/

FSOD is for sore losers who are jealous that you got your weapon without supercheats.

I do infact play alone. I'm used to it though if someone wants to play with me, I'm usually stuck with the question 'WHAT DO YOU WANT TO DO?'

My response is usually: 'I dunno... what do you want to do?'

Then we sit there doing nothing. Sure I'd cmode, but, I can't find people anymore. On Blue Burst, I'm not really close knit to anyone, I've been a loner, and probably will be a loner. The atmosphere is much different than what it was on GC imo. Instead of the GC people from psolife, psou, psow, psop, etc... it not envelops people from more forums and people from the past.

---

The main problems with BB:
1) For new people... I mean BB, I think is meant for friends only. Sure I know some teams would accept you because they would find you a nice addition to their asset, but YOU have the find them and THEY won't come to you.

2) Of course you can make your own team, get your friends to join and such and look for other members, but that will become more and more difficult if you actually don't have support from your own team. I know a lot of new players want to create their own teams because they want to have the foundation of saying 'I founded this team'... but sorta everyone is like that in a way (to some extent).

3) Some people can help you, but if the level distance is so great, then... the other person will be bored. Some of the veterns (and trial experts) jumped on quickly and leveled up super fast and now they are trying to find the super rares of the game. Sure they would play with others who are in the same level because that would definitely reduce the difficulty.

4) Teams. You see them everywhere, but who are they. They don't say hi to everyone except everyone on their team, but how can you get them to join someone. Also, teams stay in particular lobbies. You need to hunt them down or speak to one of them on the forums in meeting you or something. If you have your friends split up into various teams, who would you join? Of course, some won't mind the fact, but where is your alignment? Do you value others more than another group of people? How about if you don't like one person in that team because he/she totally pisses you off, would you join them?

Though now that I think of it... most of us in GC did stay in our own little lobbies to avoid the huge crowd and play with our circle of friends but most problem is the 4 character limit.

---

Sure I'd play with you if I was on BB, but I quit because I already got what I needed.

I dunno, I guess I'm just weird trying to understand something that I don't understand or make sense to something hypothetical.
