ver1 pso to ver2 question

I currently have verson 1 pso and i'm wondering if getting version 2 is worth it. I don't play online AT ALL (besides, couldn't if i wanted to anyway). My main question is since i won't be playing online can i get version 2 used?

You can get it used and have no problems. However, I'd recommend not doing so. Even if you could go online, the GC release isn't too far off.

I don't even have a gamecube (wish i did though) and it would be awhile before i do get it (my dreamcast is the newest system in the house). I don't mind not playing offline (i play dialbo 2 offline far more than online as well)
