BB is stupiding at me

so i just installed BB on my fancy-pants new laptop, set up my account at sega, and purchased a hunters license. But when i try to log in on the BB main menu, it won't let me type anything in. On top of that, when i try to download the patch, it says it cN'T CONNECT. Maybe because I'm on a wireless connection? I dunno. This was so much easier when it was on DC and GC...
Please help me?!

Hm, let's start--

For the typing issue, you need to disable some fonts. Go to:
My Computer
v
Control Panel
v
Reigonal and Language Options
v
Languages Tab
v
Uncheck the two boxes.


For the connection issue, make sure you're connected and can go onto a website like google.com.

You have the 903 error or whatnot.

Sorry for the delay in getting this to you. We have been working to make sure this works correctly and it appears to fix users experiencing problems connecting to the servers. This fix may apply to users experiencing the following problems:

903 Errors
916 Errors
Matrix Style Hangs

Please try this fix and report if there are problems. The fix is specific to nforce3 and nforce4 chipsets with on board lan cards.

1. Open Control Panel
2. Open System
3. Select the Hardware tab
4. Select Device Manager
5. A window will appear with a list of devices, click the + symbol next to Network Adaptors
6. Right Click the Nvidia nForce Network card and select Properties
7. Choose the Advanced tab
8. Select Checksum Offload
9. Set the Value to Disable
