Can somebody tell me how to back-up you're character?

you can use web browser 2.6 if you got access to another dreamcast that doesn't matter if the serial # gets changed.

otherwise, do whatever you can to get a web-browser 2.0 disc. I have backed up my character and I feel much more confortable. I don't worry about anyone taking my goodies cause I can always get them back (I backup daily).

Most people use the email technique (use browser 2.0+, email VMU file to self, when you need it, just erase old/corrupt files, then save backup to VMU). Me? I just take my chances.

I wouldn't do that. I took my chances and look what happened to me.

Yeah, but my VMUs can't fall out (aforementioned duct tape method). Most people backup in case of the infamous "Black Screen of Death" online. I've encountered it twice and never lost anything. Therefore, I just take my chances. If I lose it all... oh well, I've been meaning to start a force for awhile now....
