Ladies and gentlemen, tonight, as my brother and his friends were busy drinking. I decided to draw something. To prove I can...draw?

This pose is what I attempted to draw... With help from various snapshots in here (http://photobucket.com/albums/v718/PJ_PSO/Episode_1_2/PJ_SC/)

Without further delaying:

If you look on the right "trim" on the robe, you can see the letters "Ryo" closer to the top, and on the left side "PJ" closer to the bottom.

Of course, I'm not the art type. Constructive criticism is an ok.

Few things myself I know I did bad:
-Face...Just, yeah, the face
-Body looks a little weird
-Hands XD
-Saber is just, bad

So, comment!

First of all, I'd like to say this is a really nice piccie! I love how you drew his hair and the general construction of his chest area is really nice(at least, that's what stuck out most for me)!

Secondly, I made an illustration fer ya!

I can elaborate more on that if you wish, but I'm kinda tired so the illustration doesn't really offer much. Ph34r my awful handwriting! http://pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_wacko.gif

Well, FO has down the friendly assistance to the head.
Let me give some advice to the body.
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v26/Snoopychan/gif.gif

Whenever i do anything with a relation to a body type (Human, or Anthro) I make a skeleton of the body. The Skeleton can be run through with the box/line method (seen on mine) and the circle method.

With this particular picture, Look at the small details of the body. (If you could strip the robes, it'll be easier) See how his shoulders appear not level. Make note of that.

It also proves to be there for the feet too (they are not straight down the middle.

Verdict? This isn't straight flat picture. So don't make it as one!

Its usually a good idea to do these skeletons light otherwise it grows very difficult to erase things in the future. Once you have an idea of how the figure stands, begin to flesh him. Or Robe him in this case. Try your hardest to look and see how the robes flow.

It was a good slice, and with alittle bit of practice-o you can probably improve to great heights. Proving you want to at least.

Something i tell (and was told to do) is to draw the poses of random people in pictures, comic books, newspapers, hell, catalouges for clothing work too.
Though, its probably easiest working with a figure with the least amount of folds and clothing obstructing your vision. (Meaning, for PSO terms, Hucassie or Hucast without the fancy armor. Otherwise, Swimsuits or t-shirt/shorts for real people/anime/comic books)

Good Luck!
