My eyes!

I felt it time I made an actual 'good' map for my use as I worked on creating my MMO. (Mainly just as reference for me.)

I opened MS Paint, and started creating landscapes. I then felt that it'd be better if I could use a sprite or something from old NES games.

Did a few Google searchs, (most to know avail) checked Gamefaqs. After awhile, the game I chose to use was Dragon Warrior.

Got an overworld map of the first one, and a few screenshots from the 3rd and 4th.

I felt it would be better to 'mass produce' the landscapes used.

So I took stuff from this shot:

I've done like every other landscape in DW 3 and 4 (and 2 from DW1). So I can later piece them together for my maps.

Took frickin' forever to do, (especially on the water.) But I'm glad I did it, I'm one step closer to getting more work done on my MMO.

But man, my eyes hurt! >_<
