Got it, yeah. And 500isk is only a rip-off because you're new and not making money.

When you're making about a million in afew minutes by strip-mining or running combat missions, it's not a big deal.

EVE wasn't that bad, and I could see how people could really get into it, but space was never really my favorite area for a game. :3

500 ISK? I just did a test and it was 100 ISK, and gang invites are only 100 ISK. <.<

Edit: And even with a basic miner, you can make that money in one minute on Veldspar.

Yeah, definately not for everyone if you'd rather have an actual "persona" that can run around, than just choosing one of the bloodlines and making your own persona in a picture.

However, very indepth game. I've had a ton of fun with it and it's mostly been solo stuff for me, now that I have my own Corp, getting into production and heavy combat, it's even better. And I have yet to touch any PVP, which is VERY dynamic.

Not everyone's cup of tea, but the catalyst is there.
