Oran vs Seffy


The two combatants make their way to the arena, a large circular concrete platform just inches above the grass. Oran reaches into his pocket and fishes out his blue Nintendo DS then draws his boken. Seffy grips his tree branch firmly and takes a fighting stance. The two stare at eachother as the timer counts down.

Seffy dashes at Oran and swings his tree branch. Oran lifts his leg and catches the attack with his foot. Seffy begins to throw a punch, but Oran backflips and opens his DS, the sun's light reflects off the dual screens, blinding Seffy. Oran used this time to swing his boken, aiming for Seffy's chest. He then hear's a deep clunking sound, Oran looks up and is suprised to see Seffy's tree branch blocking the boken.

"But how?" Oran asks.
Seffy laughs and says "Sunglasses, n00b."

Seffy then trips Oran over and slams his elbow into his back. Oran grunts and pushes off the ground as hard as he can, toppling Seffy and launching himself into the air. Seffy raises his tree branch over his head and catches Oran's attack, then throws him to the side.

Oran stands up and holds up his weapons as Seffy runs at him. Seffy comes to an immediate stop infront of Oran and begins to swing his tree branch, but simply shoves Oran with his free hand.

Suprised, Oran tries to catch himself but finds no floor behind him.

Triumphantly, Seffy says "lol, edge."

Quo vs Frink

Two bizzare figures enter the arena. One is a man named Quo, wearing overalls and carrying a tuna fish as big as he is. The other is a Frink. As the timer counts down Frink cracks his knuckles and Quo heaves the large fish over his shoulder.

The timer buzzes the start of the match and the two fighters are off to a quick start. Frink weaves and ducks under Quo's tunassault and thrusts his palm into Quo's chest. He reels back from the blow and brushes his hair back, Quo then swings his giant fish with all his might. The sound of the fish slapping Frink was stomache churning. Frink stands straight up and wipes some slime from his face, then dashes into Quo. A swift uppercut makes him drop his fish, which flops around and into the nearby pond.

Quo then dishes out a flurry of punches, pummeling Frink to a pulp. In response Frink spins around, trips Quo, then punches him across the arena before he can even hit the ground. Exausted, Quo climbs to his feet and grabs his shoulder. He begins to run and then slides between Frink's legs and grabs him by the ankles, yanking his feet out from under him. Frink jumps right back up and grabs Quo by the collar and slams him into the ground.

A referee runs over to Quo, who stays motionless, then gives a signal.

PD vs Split

Split runs to the arena as fast as he can to the arena and turns on his chainsaws while PD makes her way there.

The timer sounds off the beginning of the match and the two fighters crash into eachother. Split slashes away with his chainsaw as PD parries each attack with her Claw. The newman girl draws a handgun and fires into Split's chest many times. Split steps back and smiles as he waves a hand over the wounds, which heal almost instantly. Before she could react PD is knocked back by Split's foot. She then climbs to her feet and cuts one chainsaw's blade in half, the chain of it flies off and barely misses PD's cheek.

Split throws the broken weapon to the side and swings away with his remaining chainsaw. PD jumps back and fires her gun again, the photon bullet slams into Split's chest and he falls to his knees.

PD walks closer and aims the handgun at Split's head, but it is sliced in half by his chainsaw. He then gets up and swings his weapon, which is caught by the blades of PD's Claw. Split pushes harder on his weapon as sparks start to fly from the weapon's blades. Finally PD kicks Split in the chest and sends him rolling backwards.

Split reaches for his chainsaw, but PD's foot slams on the handle as it hums to a stop. She then thrusts her Claw into the ground, catching Split's neck just between the blades. Split sighs and raises his hand "I give."

SURRENDER

Solly vs roygbiv

Much like Seffy, Solly marches on to the arena and looks around, his opponent hasn't arrived yet.

Solly picks up his tree branch and swings it around for the crowd's amusement. He tosses it into the air and backflips, then catches it behind his back. Then he then procedes to twirl it around like a baton and throws it up again. The tree branch lands erect on Solly's forehead, who balances it for a moment, drops it, then kicks it up and over his head onto the heel of his other shoe. Solly quickly turns around, snatches the branch out of the air and throws it up one more time. Finally he sits down as the branch lands just next to him.

An hour passes and roygbiv is still absent, so the referee calls time up.

Zelutos vs Scrub

The blue haired RAmar and the angry looking Deku Scrub stand battle ready. The timer sounds the beginning of the match and neither combatant moves. Such drama. Zelutos reaches for his Yasmikovs and Scrub throws a Deku nut to the ground, as the light fades Zelutos feels cold steel against his neck.

"Too slow" Scrub taunts.

He then cuts Zelutos's neck open and jumps off of his back as Zelutos drops to his knees, clutching his neck. Scrub begins to walk away when suddenly he hears someone running at him. The Deku turns to see Zel charging at him in a fit.

"YOU!!" He screams "You broke my juice box!"

Scrub raises his scythe to strike, but Zelutos slams his foot on the handle, knocking it out of his arms. Zelutos then grabs Scrub by the neck and lifts him up. Scrub's eyes became more menacing, after a moment he spits a Deku Seed into Zeluto's face, freeing him from his grip. Scrub then picks his scythe back up and swings, cutting Zeluto's back open. Scrub then raises the scythe above his head to finish off his opponent when he hears a click. He looks down and sees one of Zeluto's mechguns pointed at him. The Yasminkov unleashes a hail of bullets on the Deku Scrub, though none could peirce his hide, each one knocked him farther and farther back until Scrub found there was no ground below him.

Eclair vs Wacko

Eclair.EXE appears on the field. She activates her buster and it hums quietly. Suddenly the Earth shakes, a large Wacko about half the size of the arena appears from the sky and slams onto the ground. (why the arena wasn't broken I have no clue)

Unfortunately our timer was just smashed so a referee is summoned. He signals the start and the Wacko leaps high into the air as Eclair.EXE watches. The giant blue smily begin's to descend and Eclair dodges it, but just barely. The Net Navi then slashes away with her sword when a green circle of light appears around her and the length of her blade increases. The Wacko leaps again and begins falling, Eclair looks up as the blue smiley rockets back toward the ground, once again a green ring appears around her and a Barrier materializes on her free arm. Eclair smiles and raises her arm above her head and the Wacko slams into it, sending a shockwave throughout the FKL, destroying many threads.

Eclair looks up at the blue smiley as it gives its psychotic grin, when suddenly it begins to roll. The smiley tries to stop but it was just too big to stop in time before hitting the edge.

Newbie vs Shattered

Shattered looks down on his opponent, a puffball.

"what the hell is this?" he curses. He nudges the creaturn with his foot, it makes a cute squeaky noise.

Suddenly both fighters hear the referee's whistle blow. Shattered looks at the ref and Newbie latches onto his face.

"Oh snap!" he gasps as he falls to the ground and struggles to rip the puffball away. Newbie makes cute squeaky noises in delight as Shattered struggles to say another sentence, "Jesus! Help!"

"I help those who help themselves." Jesus shrugs as he sips his coffee.

Newbie then reveals a limb from his body, and a giant peice of metal attached to it. He then holds the gun up as Shattered finally pries him off and throws him to the ledge. Newbie aims at the ground and fires, propelling him safely back to the middle of the arena. The puffball shuffles to Shattered and kicks him in the shin. After a moment of hopping around on one leg Shattered picks the puffball up and punches it but to no avail. Each blow just makes Newbie squeak, as if he was a chew toy with fur. Newbie then pulls out two of his massive guns and opens fire. The dust settles and Shattered is no where to be seen.

After much waiting it's time for the anticipated match.

Ukyo vs Zuku

Zuku is seen grinding Mr.Good Mood on a wetstone, as Ukyo gnaws on an apple. The referee holds up a shield and gives the signal.

Ukyo immediatly jumps up and throws his apple core at Zuku, who glides Mr. Good Mood through it and into Ukyo's sword. Zuku ducks down and spins as Ukyo jumps to avoid the knife's edge. He then swings his sword down, Zuku steps to the side and jumps off of the back of the sword. As Zuku lands Ukyo thrusts his sword behind him, barely missing the black stick figure. Both fighters then jump away from eachother. Zuku begins running at Ukyo, but in response he reaches into his bag and pulls out an apple immediately throws it. Zuku ducks under it and rolls out of the way of Ukyo's sword as he plunges it into the ground. Zuku then reaches out and slashes at one of Ukyo's ankles, causing the samurai to fall.

"Damn you." he curses, then swings his blade, knocking Mr.Good Mood out of Zuku's hand.

Zuku dives for his knife and rolls back to his feet as Ukyo unleashes a barrage of apples. The samurai then runs up and slices through each one as they pass Zuku, and sheathes his sword. Suddenly he feels cold steel against his neck.

"How did you survive? I thought I diced you into tiny peices?"

Zuku smiles and says "All I had to do was slip between the tiles of the arena, stick figures are very two dimensional, you know."

Ukyo laughs and raises his hands "You are too good for me in this battle ground."

SURRENDER

2nd round

Seffy vs Frink

Bridges have been set down across the moat to allow fighters into the arena. Seffy and Frink cross on opposite sides and stretch one last time. The referee then signals the beginning of the match and Frink zips across the arena and strikes at Seffy, who miraculously dodges it. He swings his tree branch at Frink's side, knocking him into the water.

"Dang, now how will I fight him?" Seffy mumbles under his breath. Suddenly he hears a loud splash behind him and he turns to see a fish leaping out of the water. Suddenly he feels something slam into his back, hard. As Seffy falls he sees Frink out of the corner of his eye. Then he catches himself and jumps up, evading another blow. Next Seffy throws his tree branch down, knocking Frink in the back of the head. Finally he lands inches away from his oppoent and retrieves his weapon.

Frink seems to be motionless, the ref is about to call the end of the match. Suddenly he reaches out and grabs Sef by the ankles and leaps up, and begins to spin. Sef swings his tree branch, and makes contact with Frink's head just as he is let go. Seffy begins flying out of the arena from the force of Frink's throw.

He clears the edge of the arena...
barely misses the moat...
and lands halfway on the grass.

PD vs Solly

The referee holds his hand up, preparing to give the signal. He looks at both combatants, Solly pushes his glasses closer to his eyes, and PD tightens her gloves, they both stand battle ready.

"Are you ready?" Solly asks the red HUnewearl.

"Anytime the ref is." She jokes.

The referee then throws his hand down. Neither fighter moves. PD smiles and backflips off of the stage and is suddenly launched high into the air. Even with his sunglasses, Solly could barely make out PD's figure when the sun is behind her, but he did recognise the photon bullets coming at him. With quick footwork he dodges the round, and rolls out of the way of PD's Partisan as she slammed it into the ground.

"Oh, so thats how you launched so high up." Solly chuckles, as he swings his tree branch at the HUnewearl. PD quickly rolls behind the staff of her partisan, and lets it take the blow. She then yanks it out of the ground and switches back to her claw. Both fighters swing their weapons, and they connect with a harsh tearing sound. Unfortunately for Solly wood doesn't block photon well, he sits there grasping the two halves of his branch and staring down the pink photon blade that broke it. Solly thinks for a second and rolls out of PD's reach, he then stands just on the ledge of the arena and waves.

The HUnewearl then charges at Solly, who dives backwards into the moat. She then goes to jump in after him but connects with a sheet of ice and slides onto the grass.

"Damn... Barta..."

Eclair vs Zelutos

Eclair.EXE appears on the arena as Zelutos jogs in opposite of her. The two comabatants await the referee's signal. The ref kindly obliges and starts off the match. Eclair begins running straight at Zelutos as he draws his Yasminkovs and fires at her. The bullets stop and the dust settles, Zelutos stares at the ground where Eclair stood and laughs, "Oh hey, I think I won!"

"Hmm, you sure did waste a lot of bullets! How did you know I would have been there the whole time?" the RAmar hears.

"Gyah! You!" Zelutos screams as he turns around and sees Eclair unscathed.

"Area Grab chips are useful." Eclair laughs. She then swipes her sword at Zelutos' chest, but Zelutos ducks under it and hits Eclair's ankles with his guns. Eclair yelps and collapses to the ground. The blue haired RAmar then stands up and reloads his Yasminkovs. He aims down at the Net Navi and pulls the trigger as Eclair holds up an arm in defense. Suddenly Zelutos realises his bullets are being absorbed into a shield of some sort. He lets go of the triggers and tries to run away but the shield jets foward and smacks him in the back of the head, knocking him out cold.

Newbie vs Zuku

Newbie enters the arena, mainly because I stopped hugging it long enough for it to do so, and it stares blankly at Zuku as he twirls Mr Good Mood around his fingers. Newbie squeaks to grab Zuku's attention and it worked. The stick figure turns around, stands up and holds his weapon ready. The referee then gives his signal and much like his last match, Newbie latches onto Zuku's face. Zuku takes Mr Good Mood and pushes the tip into Newbie's back, which makes the poor puffball cry and drop to the ground. Zuku watches Newbie run in circles a few times then stop and look at him. Zuku prepares to finish off the puffball when suddenly it reveals a set of huge, menacing teeth. Zuku stops and begins to run and Newbie chases him across the arena, suddenly Zuku stops at the bridge and faces his opponent. The rather frightening puffball closes in on Zuku when suddenly it gets picked up and thrown across the bridge. Zuku laughs evily and watches Newbie land on the grass.

Split pushes harder on his weapon as sparks start to fly from the weapon's blades. Finally PD kicks Split in the chest and sends him rolling backwards.

Split reaches for his chainsaw, but PD's foot slams on the handle as it hums to a stop. She then thrusts her Claw into the ground, catching Split's neck just between the blades. Split sighs and raises his hand "I give."

SEMI FINAL

Frink vs Solly

The gates open at both sides of the labyrinth and the fighters enter, Solly begins running in and Frink takes his time. They look around the maze of corridoors, wondering which way to go.

"Hmm, Frink is too strong, I'll have to finish this quickly so he doesn't have a chance to get any hits in." Solly says to himself then dashes down the hall to his left.

"Solly is too fast, I'll have to make this quick so he doesn't have time to wear me down." Frink mumbles under his breath and takes the hall to his right.

Both fighters follow the path as it slowly turns, suddenly they slam into eachother and fall backwards.

"HEY!" they yell, "Oh, its you!"

The two jump up and begin attacking eachother. Solly swings his tree branch and Frink blocks with his forearm then throws a punch, which Solly ducks under. Frink then tries to flop down, but Solly spins out the way and hits Frink in the back with his weapon. Frink climbs to his feet and punches at Solly, knocking him against the wall and making him drop his branch.

"No choice, I have to use this!" Solly says as he holds his shoulder. He begins to make signs with his hands and vanishes. Frink turns around, expecting Solly to have warped behind him, but is smacked hard with Solly's tree branch. He then stands straight up and attacks again, but Solly quickly ducks behind him and kicks the back of Frink's knee and swings his tree branch again. Frink falls foward and shows no signs of movement.

Eclair vs Zuku

The hat's been dropped. The referees finally allowed this match, given that Eclair.EXE is a program and not a real cat-person.

It begins quickly, Eclair runs into the middle of the arena and activates her buster sword, and Zuku kicks off the walls to travel through, giving him enough momemtum to jump into the air as he enters the center. Quickly he draws Mr.Good Mood and dives down in an attempt to slice his opponent open. Eclair jumps back and opens fire with her arm cannon, and Zuku rolls out of the way, retreating into the labyrinth, with Eclair following suit. Zuku then turns around and stabs at Eclair, but the Net Navi narrowly dodges it, then retaliates with her sword. The blades clash many times when suddenly both combatants jump back.

"Get it over with, freak of nature. The world would be happier without cat-girls."

"I could say the same to you, mutant stick man. And sure, I'll get it over with - - your demise." Eclair then glows green and her sword begins to grow many times larger "HERO SWORD BATTLECHIP!"

Zuku smiles as he lunges at Eclair, but rolls out of the way as she begins to swing the massive blade on her arm. The sword glides through the walls and the tunnel begins to collapse, both fighters panic and jump out in opposite directions. Eclair climbs to her feet and looks at the thick cloud of dust that replaced the tunnel, she then lets the beam sword rest on the ground and it changes back to a normal buster. As Eclair begins to turn around Zuku shoots through the dust and drives Mr.Good Mood through her chest, he laughs evily as he twists the blade around. Suddenly he feels much lighter than usual and feels a sharp pain in his back, the stick man looks down to see a sword severing him halfway, and out of the corner of his eye, sees another Eclair.EXE.

"How did you..." Zuku asks.

"My special cloning technique and the Area Grab chip. You like?" Eclair laughs and Zuku falls from the blade of her sword to the ground.

Solly vs Eclair.EXE

The crowd goes crazy as Solly appears in the arena in a puff of smoke, and again as Eclair materializes from thin air.

The arena around them begins to morph for a final time, the concreta maze sinks into the ground, and the traditional gold plated circle resurfaces.

"How anti climactic.." Solly sighs.

"I was expecting much more than this..." Eclair says with a hint of disapointment in her voice.

Suddenly a large wall sprouts up, this one encompassing the normal arena. It resembeled the Roman Colloseum. Both fighters grin with anticipation as they say in unison, "Now THIS is more like it!"

The referee enters and holds his hand up, the crowd remained deathly silent. The ref then threw down his hand and both competetors lunge into battle. Eclair uses her clone ability and surronds Solly. The three Net Navis then swing their weapons, as Solly quickly makes hand signs, sending a wall of electricity outward. The real Eclair.EXE jumps away as the two clones touch the wall and instantly vaporize.

Solly then turns and swings his tree branch, which Eclair catches with her sword. Again, Solly makes a sign with his hands and vanishes, as Eclair does too in a green ring of light. Solly then appears in the stands, and immediately spins around to catch an attack from Eclair.EXE.

"Your vanishing act is useless when I have the Area Grab chip." Eclair taunts as she makes two more clones of herself. Solly nimbly jumps up over one of the Eclair's attacks and kicks off the back of her head, into another, which he clobbers with his branch. The real Eclair retracts her sword and opens fire with a beam cannon. Several bullets graze Solly's shoulder as he slams the end of his branch into the cannon. Eclair rips out the branch then throws it to the side and throws a quick punch, smashing Solly's sunglasses. Solly reels back from the hit and pulls the broken lenses away from his eyes, he then reaches into his pocket and fishes out another pair. Once again, both fighters vanish and reappear across the arena, Solly's tree branch smashes Eclair's arm cannon making it unusable. Eclair then pulls it off and tosses it to the side next she dashes at Solly and delivers a flurry of punches, and finishes off the combo by kicking him to the side. Solly slowly stands up, clutching his side. He wipes some blood away from his mouth and makes another, more complex hand sign. A phoenix made of flames erupts from his figure and soars into the sky. Eclair looks up, then back down at Solly, who is now on his knees. She begins to march at him, pulling out a spare beam saber from a Battle Chip. She begins to raise the sword when suddenly a ball of fire lands between them. Eclair staggers back from the suprise, she then looks at the fireball, which has taken the form of none other than a Rappy.

Eclair laughs as the fireball Rappy begins walking towards her,"You've got to be kidding me!" she then slices right through the fire bird, it falls to the ground and begins to fade.

Finally Eclair turns her attention back to Solly, who looks at the ground hopeless. Once again she raises her sword she begins to bring it down. Solly looks up with an evil smile, seconds before the sword could touch Solly's brow she is smashed to the side.

Eclair looks up to see the fire Rappy scamper off and truly fade away, with a sigh she says,"I should have known..." she then falls unconcious with Solly looking onward, struggling to get to his feet.
