I've been working on my character site ( http://spylord.digitalrice.com/stuff.htm ) and then I remembered seeing on PSOW somewhere that somebody ran a PSO Newspaper. I remember going to their site and thinking: "How lame. It's just news about GC PSO."

But my gears are turning now... wouldn't it be fun to have a PSO newspaper that covered the going-ons of... Us, PSOW players.

I can see some headlines now... "Player X finds Lavis Blades, Player Y vows to exact revenge on X for grabbing them before he did.

Basically, it would all be "in-character" from our character's perspectives.

I don't know, it sounds like fun to me. If anyone has any other ideas or wants to comment I'd love to hear it.

This sounds awesome, but it's hard to post news pertaining to a thousand or so members. And what would we put in the obituaries?

When a character is deleted or corupted.

Good idea spy, but it would be extremely hard to find good information, so I think people would have to submit to you.

I think it would be a great addition to PSOW. Sorta like a newsletter.

Yeah. Unless it had a lot of support though, it would be very difficult to maintain.

Difficult indeed my good man, but maybe one of the mods could take it over. Or we could get a new mod who’s only job is to make and E-Mail a Newspaper like Newsletter. With articles, clan info, special events, and so on and so forth.

IT would be a cool idea, but as said, it would be over thousands of characters and there would just be too much stuff to put in it...i like the idea though!

Sure, there's thousands of users, so just make sure that the info you put in the paper would not be pointless or unentertaining.
