Now, I'm confused. Oekaki is Japanese for "scribble" or "doodle", right? Yet I see it used to reference nondoodle-esque looking images.

Your new image looks pretty. If you attempt something similar in the future, you should try to have the image size scalable to common wallpaper sizes.

Literally, yes, it means 'scribble,' but it has morphed into an all-encompassing term for images created in PaintBBS, OekakiBBS, ShiPainter, and so on. ;o~
