My first snes game was Super Metroid. I just wish they did away with the automap feature... I actually liked getting lost in the original Metroid game.

You know, I remember my mom always let me rent a game over the weekend. I can't count how many times I rented Super Metroid, and I actually started remembering the SKU at the local Blockbuster so I'd get the exact same cartridge with my save-file on it.

The auto-map, I dunno, I kind of liked looking it over and then checking areas I think there might be a hidden area in.

You know, I never did pass Demon's Crest. But that game was a bit linear for my tastes. Hence why I enjoyed Supe Metroid, it wasn't too linear at all.
