Mine was a Sega marketing monster!

"Magnifying screen" (that you screw on in the back and extends out the front screen about 6 inches) + AC Adapter(the only way to play) + Streets of Rage 2 = Much fun.

I never got that TV tuner, since it was like $150 at the time. http://pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_cry.gif

Nah, those watch sized batteries will kill you!

Talk about taking time to open it up, look at the battery number, go drive around to find a store that sells them, for maybe way too much money for each one, and then replace it every 4-6 hours?!

MADNESS!

Also, no AC adapter on Game and Watch handhelds. http://pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_wink.gif

but to save batteries on a Gamegear, just play it without a game inside! Just like the wheelchair kid in Rumble in the Bronx! http://pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_wacko.gif

4 AA batteries on the original Gameboy no? http://pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_razz.gif

Gameboy Pocket 2 AAA
Gameboy Color 2 AA
Gameboy Advance 2 AA(?)

Nintendo Revolution controller 1 AAAA (<--- yes Nintendo creates their own new battery standard for the new system consisting of 4 A's, just as Sony has created the UMD format) http://pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_wacko.gif

I especially like how none of the PSP players are playing the same game.

I especially like how the DS is(or was, my info's old) beating the PSP.
so, um, i guess my post is pointless.

I remember that my great grandparents were trying to be cool by getting me those handhelds that promised to "GET RID OF CARTRIGES FOREVER!" but were like tetris times 250. And supposedly they were educational too.

Yes. I do own the pink one. It's being put to good use right now to play Phantasy Star. After which I shall start PSII. :3 And then I guess III, while I lament the non-existance of a GBA port of PSIV. http://pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_frown.gif

Two Power buttons! http://pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_eek.gif

That made me jump up, look at my DS box, and open up my DS to check to see what was going on. http://pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_razz.gif

A co-worker had a rom cart for GBA with those 200+ games on it. The only game everyone played on it was the NES Super Mario Bros. http://pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_biggrin.gif
