Ok... why do i get the feeling we're going to be breaking into song at one point during the offline game?

that would be....weird...unless they make PSU offline have character relations like SO2 or Radiata stories...it would make for a "touching" love scene or some erotic dancing by ethan and some other girl haha.

I'm thinking more along the lines of a mini-game.

I'm pretty sure Space Channel 5 was based off of a TV show in Japan.

...The game was awesome, though.

It should be noted that Space Channel 5's original developer, United Game Artists, was consolidated and absorbed into Sonic Team. You'll notice that there's some similar SC5-love in Feel the Magic XX/XY for the DS. There's apparently a SC5-themed Mag in Blue Burst, too.
