Are you going to be a gun salesman or a professional hunter?

I like them too. Do you own any?
Oh yes, make gunsmithing a hobby or sidejob.

That's why I love going to my uncle's house, the man has a collection of roughly 60 firearms from all time periods from all over the world. My personal favorite is the M-60...but he's never let me fire that one.

My dad taught me to shoot when I was eight. I was a pretty good shot, too.

Im already in the NRA and i am on a rifle team, im working on distinguished expert (i would had it last year but i skipped too many practices). I own a target rifle, an Anschutz M1908, and my father owns 3 pistols, one of which is a Kahr K9, very nice, and various rifles. A nice Franchi 12g, semi-auto shotgun is included in that as well as many antique .22 rifles(one of them from the 1910's or so). I myself cant own any of them yet because im only 17 but the first thing im gonna buy when im 18 is a gun, prolly an M1 Carbine or a Mauser 98 maybe something else, im still not sure. I only planned on taking the gunsmithing as a way to gain backround knowledge and experience (really to learn the complex inner workings of advanced firearms) and allow me to have a side job; i want to major in mechanical engineering so i can get more into the design of firearms. however, i think i may join the navy so i dont know how that will effect what i want to do, you never know i could go career. If you want some firearms history or some technical descriptions that apear to be pretty accurate check out this site http://www.world.guns.ru/main-e.htm Oh yea i dont recomend quoting guns specs in an essay, itll earn you a trip to the school psychologist.
