So I was at a Pokemon Pre-release today...

(for those who don't know, a Pre-release is a tournament where players use cards for an expansion that is coming out soon)

And I must say, these are some very nice new cards...

For those of you who haven't played it in a while, you maybe thinking "Holy shit! dual types? Delta Species? OMGWTF!?"

To be honest, I don't blame you for feeling that way...

Exactly what I was talking about http://pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_wacko.gif

All the types are completely different so that the gameplay environment is...differnt http://pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_confused.gif

Just like the example you mentioned, other honorable mentions are...

Dragonite - Normally a colorless type, now he is Metal and Lightning
Tyranitar - Normally a fighting (or dark) type, now he is Metal and Fire...

On the positive side, this expansion adds loads of new possibilities for decks

Well, that is a good question. SO far, I have only thought of two conclusions...

1. Metal Energy has a kick ass effect.
2. the Team Rocket Returns expansion had shitloads of Dark dual types http://pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_wacko.gif

When one pokemon thread is not enough...

Two pokemon threads!

Dragonite IS cool, but he always did sound like some kind of metal alloy.
so it's understandable.

True, but both topics are in regards to two different aspects of the franchise. I wouldn't want to see either topic get hijacked for that reason...

Nintendo should be applauded simply for their ability to churn out such lucrative cash cows.
