I wonder if he picked up Resident Evil 4 on PS2.

He got it the first day, the Gamestop "collector's edition" GC version (which was totally not worth it by the way with lame collectors add ins) and the PS2 version is filled to the brim with exclusive extras.

Even after Shinji Mikami said he would cut his own head off before Resident Evil went to a system besides the GC.

Well on GC everyone got two original Resident Evil games, a bunch of ports, and only Zero was exclusive.

That deal worked out nicely didn't it?

There was a commercial on earlier, I only got the tail end of it.

It did seem much beter than the GC commercial which I also have seen a total of 1 time back when that was released.

My older brother played some Mercenaries mini-game after he was watching me play for a bit and died when he saw part he exclaimed: "Hey, why? what? This is like Shenmue?! Run run! C'mon! Oh, dodge, jump!" <- the part where the giant statue is chasing you.

He died there 2 times in a row then got to the ledge and I think died.

He did okay for his first time ever in the Mercenaries. He completed it, but didn't know that the whole game was about high kill combos and points.
