A buddy of mine sent it to me for my birthday. It's not the greatest in the world, but I'm having great fun with it.

VHS though Composite. I'm buying an S-Video cable once I get the cash to do so, which should be sometime this week. However, I don't care a whole lot about quality. I'm happy with what I have.

I loved the oldschool imps that would start fights with each other. They were so sweet.

Just as a little tidbit, you could get less blur by changing the pixel width. Normal television signal comes in at 4:3 ratio, you seem to be taking at 1:2, which would account for the horizontal blur. Now, I'm not sure what program you are using to capture, but most let you choose the pixel width. Generally, 640x480 is the best you can get without severe distortion.

Nah, it's at 4:3. I'm using Dscaler. It's alright for now, until I get an S-video cable. Thanks for the image, too ;o

720x480=!4:3 3:2 is what that is. DScaler defaults to that for some reason and not the 4:3 resolution of 640x480.

All I know is that when I check my Aspect Ratio, it says 4:3. I also know that there is distortion from the composite.
