I'm going to ask a stupid question now:
Why is the acronym GCN instead of NGC?

Gamecube Nintendo makes no sense, while Nintendo Gamecube is said all the time. Then there's PSX = PS1 = PSONE and then in Japan there's a PSX hybrid console as well.
