So what are you getting your family & friends for the holidays? It's Christmas for me.

Mom - Electric Stove (hopefully in the $700 - $1000 range)
Dad - (always hard to choose one for him)
Sister & Her Husband - $100 or $150 gift certificate to Target (they just bought a new home in Georgia)
Jeff (best friend) - Uh... something

I'm only 14, that's not much of an excuse because I CAN get a job. No ones getting anything from me. This summer I'm working in a skate and snowboard and bike shop so next year i'll have money to go all out and get them what they want ...if it's in my price range.

I can't afford anything -.-

Which is amazing, somehow I can manage enough extra money from Christas/Birthday money to buy a birthday present for my mom, my brother and my other brothers (December, Febuary and May). And my dad, whose birthday is before Christmas (...Actually, it's today http://pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_wacko.gif) I can't get him anything, cause I have no money.

I'm not rich by any means, hell I read in the newspaper that I'm part of the "working poor" in terms of hourly wages/year's end salary(totals).

But I like to be generous around the holidays since I have a job now and in years past I might not have spent a reasonable amount on family even when I had money.

Now I don't even know what to ask for since I can buy it myself and usually for a cheaper price than what my family spends on it during the holidays since they don't know my usual routine of stores and pricing info. http://pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_wacko.gif

As of now:

Dad: Lost Season 1 DVD set, Santana's new CD

Dad's stuff is easy enough, he's sick of ties, sick of socks and weird boxers, planters peanuts holiday packages and oddball things.

So DVD's and CD's of anything he likes or talks about once and seems to like. http://pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_lol.gif

Mom: Gift set of 4 toiletries travel bags, shimmer gift set(whatever that is, she picked it out and I paid for it) http://pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_razz.gif

I need to buy some more but I need her to pick it out since its harder to buy for moms during this season I believe. That and my mom doesn't ever tell me what she wants or needs when I ask. Have to walk around with her in the store and tell her I'll buy her the stuff she's picking out. Even in the makeup isle. http://pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_disapprove.gif

Little brother #1: PSP GTA Liberty City Stories

He probably doesn't give half a crap about the controls being wonky during shooting/targeting(or looks into reviews of it) and just wants a new PSP game that's any good. I told him PSP has like 3 good games. He owns the first SCEA NBA game and Twisted Metal, which are not soo hot. http://pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_wacko.gif

Little brother #2: Fireproof/Waterproof safe to hold valuables in a lock and key storage.

He needs something like this, being the hustler he is. He is always carrying around wads of cash and having nowhere to put it in safekeeping when he's not using it. Bank accounts and savings are words in another language to him. http://pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_razz.gif

Older brother: nothing yet, need to know if he managed to pick up an XBOX 360 and his favorite game NBA live.

Will buy him the network adapter maybe if he wants and needs it, or an extra controller, wireless or corded depending on which he wants. Those XBOX 360 controllers are REALLY EXPENSIVE, as are all the accessories. http://pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_frown.gif

I'm getting Peej some lamo PSO art book for his birthday/Christmas.

Dunno what to get my family(I only buy for my direct family >_>;). My mom likes little glass and other material(As if I know their names) angels, so I can probably buy her one of those and she'd be happy. My dad, I'll probably buy him a CD of some sort, maybe two, if he can think of ones he wants.

That leaves my sister and my brother...The less I try and think about what to get them, the better ._.

I try and have a rule of spending $30 per person, not a whole lot, but I don't have lots of money(And last year I spent my last $120 or so on gifts) @_@

I'm gonna get my dad a copy of Pink Floyd's "Dark Side of the Moon". As for everyone else, I'm not so sure. However, I'm thinking of just buying several new copies of Phantom Dust and giving those to my buddies that have Xboxes. http://pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_wacko.gif

Wife = DS + nintendogs + animal wanking.
Me = not sure, probably a marantz pmd670 portable solid state digital recorder.
Mom = no idea, she'll tell me to save my money.
Dad = probably a ticket for me to visit him (i'm all he has really, his words)
Step-dad = Probably some gadget for his motorcycle trips (boeing technical writer, like cruisers *honda shadow*).
Brother = no idea, probably a dvd season set of whatever show he likes now.
Step brothers = we really don't get each other anything, we believe it's best to leave the item picking up to ourselves because we're so damned picky and we'd rather bypass the possible bottling up of dissapointment. lol.

dogs = toys http://pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_smile.gif
cat = nothing, she won't play with the shit anyway.
