...what would it look like?

There's everything from Dead or Alive's Kasumi limited edition Xbox-es to NFL 2K Sports Dreamcasts, to the Triforce GBA SP out there, so what would your custom console look like?

Consider it would be the basic size and shape but with limited edition graphics and colors(such as the said releases), not a full aftermarket customization.

I'd go with a Resident Evil 4 GC maybe. Jet black + bloody drippings and things due to the size and canvas area constraints. http://pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_eek.gif

Or perhaps a Guilty Gear themed PS2. Nice artwork there in those games. http://pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_biggrin.gif

A Splatterhouse themed Turbo Graphix 16.

A Street Fighter Alpha Playstation, original size but white like the PSOne remodel.

A Bomberman SNES, with matching 5 player controller adapter!

Gotta go with a SNK Vs. Capcom Neo Geo Pocket Color as well. There's a lot of possible character mash ups there.

That's all I can think of for now.

I know they already have a Pokemon GBA SP, but I think a Kecleon themed one would be cool! A dark green http://pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_wacko.gif

And I dunno if GC has a Pokemon theme either, but it could use a bright red with a Ho-Oh on the disc cover thing (Where the Gamecube logo would be). Even if it weren't a Pokemon theme, a red Gamecube would be cool.

Anything that plays tribute to the classic videogame systems. I would be hesitant about buying a game specific design.

A black and green DS, and a black Xbox 360 with green lights, to match.

I wouldn't mind having a GameCube (or even Revolution when the time comes) that has a theme in design to the Game Boy Light.

The Game Boy Light was, like most awesome releases, Japanese only. It was similar to a Game Boy Pocket with a couple of differences. The case was silver, with black buttons and the coolest part was it had a backlit screen. Yep, it lasted about 2 hours more (with light on, 8 more with light off!) than the Game Boy Pocket but was the first attempt by Nintendo for a backlit screen. I saw one years ago at a mall in Florida but it was, unfortunately, $90 (used obviously, but with original box and papers) whereas a used Game Boy Color was $25. Add to that I wanted a couple NES games they had and well... guess someone else got that rare gem.

More about the Game Boy series can be found at Wikipedia:

If I had my way, they'd all look like the original NES. All of them. Just big grey boxes with a black stripe. And they'd all be indestinguishable from eachother, except for the name they're labeled with.
