GCN Boot Disc Realease

I remeber there being a thread about it but I couldnt find it. So if anyone could tell me the release date of the boot disc or if its already out, thanx.

It's apperantly (http://gamestore.ign.com/search.asp?sortby=title&searchtype=quicksearch&keyword=freeloader) supposed to come out on the 16th. But it has been delayed a bunch of times already, so I don't know if I would trust that date.

I wouldn't trust it. They said is because they have problems with games that are in more than 1 disc.

Oh, well thats great, Im importing and i cant get my GC modded(dont want to), and now you guys are saying delays..hopefully you guys are wrong, well see on the 16th.

pso wont be more than one disc.

pso for dreamcast was a reletivly small game.. only thing that took up most memory was the music.

That doesnt matter if pso is one disk. They arn't just releasing the disk for one game only. They have to think about other games too. ^_^;

I pre-ordered the freeloader about 2 months ago from NCSX. I cancelled the order today and this is the response that I got.

Hello, we have canceled your order. Freeloader does not
appear to be something that will be released until next year.

So, according to ncsx, it won't be out til next year.

EDIT: Or is it a witty way to cancel the order since it keeps getting pushed back and seems like it won't come out until next year...

ive heard that the jp modem wont work on an unmodded cube. So if you do get the bootdisk youll be waiting for us release just to play it online.

Yea I wasnt planning on importing BBA, I was gunna import game and thats it, and get boot disc.

Then save up again for thet friggin' million dollar keyboard and the US BBA. I juts dont know though.

Just because I would have to put the boot disc in every time I wanted to play the game is pushing me towards waiting it out.

We'll see.

THe latest on the freeloader disc is that it will be released on the 20th of september, however datel say it will only be compatable with european cubes
