Hacked mag question

My friend is using a RAcaseal that uses a hacked mag and weapons all the way through the temple until we get to the boss where she unequips it and equips a non hacked mag and non hacked weapons, she is a Pinkal and we have done the temple loads of times in search of asukas but we havent found them yet and we have done many more runs than the average 7. Is it because she uses the hacked mag up to the boss or is it just bad luck? By the way i am not using a hacked mag/weapons at any time.

If the team leader uses a hacked Mag at all, it'll disrupt the drop rates. To solve this, have them simply not use the hacked Mag during your hunts.

Ok well he thought that if you only used the mag for the temple up to the boss we would still be able to get the rare weapon from the boss easily. It made the temple a lot easier. So because he is the team leader and he equips it for most of the temple we should not be able to get it from the boss. Well we shall try that way from now on, and if i find it i will post it in todays finds. Hacked weapons dont effect drop rates do they? because i think they dont change it its only hacked mags.
