Try it again.

To get back on topic, these scans are pretty interesting. It looks like the hovercraft/tank will be a vehicle you can pilot. Also, there are some additional details about the Flowder and Lunga.

Probably the most interesting thing are the spaceship pictures. It looks like you'll have a spacecraft that can fly between the various planets. Too bad it seems like it is a menu-driven system.

I wonder what the top half of the second page is about....

I can't wait to float around in a striker. http://pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_smile.gif

The PPT looks interesting, looks like an interplanetary traval menu. I wonder if that'll be incorperated on the online mode...
hmm....

Check out the ID card thing shown on page 2. Interesting how it shows the region the user is from (in this case, Japan), surely there must be a reason for showing that.. (teehee), and some kind of bio space, and now with your character's photo! - excellent!

Perhaps it's some kind of a guild card system? It seems to show Ethan making a choice regarding the 'card', (yes/no, accept/decline?) in this case, Hyuga's.

I got all giddy seeing those pics... o_o

So, it shows how "Guild Card" (or whatever it is this time, it seems to be called "UserID", judging by what it says) works, apparently showing that there's this BIG chance we'll have cross-regional play.
Cross your fingers everyone! http://pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_biggrin.gif

The planetary system is definitely interesting.
Even if we can't pilot it, it shows how things may work to visit the areas of each planet and how you get to them.
It was said a long time ago that the City (new lobbies for those still not used to it) would have a floor just for space travel, so it may be there where you get the ship to travel around.

1. We know of the Lunga for certain land travel.
2. We know of the Flowder for certain water travel.
3. Theres also a vehicle that can travel floating above ground. I believe this is another function of the Flowder (nice name btw).
4. Its already been established there will be a dedicated area for a spaceport, indicating space travel. Its not PS without some acknowledgement of spaceships.

I'll work on more detailed translations later. Here's what I've got from glancing over the articles.

G Flyer - This is a type of personal transportation used primarily in the Guardians Colony.

PPT - This photon-powered (using the "photon drive system") transportation shuttle is used for inter-planetary transportation along vector tracks.

Striker - This is an assault tank used by the A.M.F.

OK Espio, gonna ask you about what you posted here. G Flyer, from what youre saying, is probably that air skateboard we've seen Ethan riding. The PPT is most likely the main transportation we've been hearing about, concerning a spaceport. As for the Striker (nice name btw), it was said that groups would be able to assemble in & use a tank. So somehow, we should be able to use the Strikers online. Ive seen a pic of an on top cannon firing. Walls no longer exist in this game. At least they wont for long. http://pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_razz.gif

Whoops. I should've elaborated on which was which. Sorry!

The G Flyer is actually the pointy-nose jet shown in the middle of the first scan posted. Next down from there is the Flowder, as we know from previous updates, followed up by the PPT Shuttle. I'm sure you know which is which between the Lunga and Striker on the second scan. http://pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_wink.gif

I do??? LOL Yeah, I think I do. Ppl focus so much on the Lunga & Flowder, but, theres clearly quite a few means of transportation to get around. I can just see it now. Give ppl a few days or weeks with just playing around with that. Wanna go kill a (name of monster)? Nah, we're just gonna planet hop. http://pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_razz.gif

Ok.. so basically the Guardian Colony is the new Pioneer 2. (I hate to put this in PSO terms, but it's easier) When you log in, there's several multi-floored lobbies you you can choose from. Rather than just running to a teleporter though, you have to board the PPT in order to switch servers. Once you're ready, you take the G-Flyer down to one of the towns on one of the planets - which serve as a another meeting place. Instead of lobbies, we have different city sections and different floors to the guardian colony.

Once in the city, we can enter the "game" or Overworld map. And each party will have their own "game" to themselves which they don't have to share with several other parties such as in MMORPGs.

Makes sence... though I do wish the G-Flyer which transports us to the different planets isn't instantanious. One thing I liked about FFXI was the boat rides from Selbina to Mhuara. It'd be nice if the G-Flyer was set up similarly, so we could meet and chat with other players on the transport down to the planet.

I hated those boat rides. There is absolutely nothing fun about sitting on a videogame boat for 15 real life minutes when you simply want to go from one area to the next and play with your friends, especially when you consider every minute of free time to be valuable. That kind of content is precisely why I quit playing MMORPGs, and have no intention of coming back to them anytime soon.

The G-Flyer isnt for interplanetary travel. Re-read EspioKaos's explanation again.

Wow, this is a nice update to come back to. That tank is really cool looking. And I can't wait to pilot one of those babies http://pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_razz.gif Heavy firepower is always a big plus. And those other planes are very nice. They look so shiny. And have that 'new spacecraft smell' LOL It's good to get an update on the vehicles. New information is always welcome http://pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_smile.gif thanks for the scans Lord DS and thanks for the translations Espio
