its interesting that the programmers care more for the polygon-models of the bait than for the flat textures in the background or even for programming a decent filter that lets the picture seem less pixelated.

Well hey, Team Ninja basically made this game out of a board room meeting with a skewed agenda anyway.

They aren't known for their depth and attention to detail besides in the (female) character models.
