Yeah, that is pretty slick-looking.

The DS has been released in the USA with some other colors: electric blue and teal come to mind. I do like that gold color, though.

it still doesn't impress me as much as when as when i first saw the Electric Blue DS. when that came out, i knew i waqnted one instantly.

I'm skeptical due to my "Gold GBA SP" being a very, very dull gold.

It looks nearly identical to the Platinum color, yet in the picture of the Toys R Us ad and the box itself, it has a very shiny gold, as does that DS.

In fact I wonder how deep the color is of that Lime Green Target stores exclusive GBA SP. Hmm. I don't think they sell those anymore either. Bah hambug.

Those colored PSP's look spiffy as well. A newspaper around launch time showed a white Gran Turismo designed one, complete with Gran Turismo UMD game disc. The advertisement pamphlets from Sony also showed pastel colored ones.

Eh, I'm not a real big fan of gold. Now, that black DS is pretty sweet looking. I was hoping Nintendo would release some of the JP-only colors before I bought mine, but, alas, they didn't. I ended up getting Electric Blue, which is just as well, seeing that blue is my favorite color.

I still prefer the Mario Kart version. Slick RED and has the number 6 with race flag design on it. <3
