Detective Conan / Case Closed

Just wondering if anyone knows about this anime it been around for about 8 years now and still going strong with 400+ episodes and 9 movies with the 10th coming soon.

It's a detective anime. The story goes like this:

Detective Conan is an elementary school boy named Conan Edogawa. He is really a 17 year-old famous high school detective, Shinichi Kudo. While investigating some suspicious activity, Shinichi was knocked over the head by a man dressed in black. During his semi-conscious state, an experimental drug was forced down his throat that was meant to kill him. Instead, he shrunk into a little kid. In order to prevent the men from hurting his friends and family, he changed his name to Conan Edogawa, and now lives with his girlfriend, Ran and her dad.

I like this anime a lot and the cases are interesting to watch.

Just wondering if anyone else has heard of this since it was out in the US under the name Case Closed.

It was on Adult Swim for a bit if I remember.

Like Law and Order, cut in half, with uh, cartoon characters. If that makes any sense.

Good show, although it seemed to get repetitive after a while when he always knew what was going on and explained everything at the conclusion of the episode.

And funny how these crazy murderers just stopped in their tracks and walked into custody when Conan explained what they did instead of having run off already.

I talked to Kuea about it before. He likes the show.

I've watched it a few times. I like it, and it's fun to try and figure out who did it.

Haha, I used to love that show. It was just funny how there's no freaking way any human person could ever figure out the cases like Conan does.

Some cases he solves while in real life it would be nearly impossible to solve it in that short amount of a time but most of the episodes I already figure out who did it and how since the show proves all the clue for the viewer to solve on there own.

I kinda liked this show. It had such a cutesy art style, and then showed horrifying murder scenes. The actual mysteries were pretty nifty, as well.

I really liked some of the ads from it:

"Did you guys get the murder weapon?"

"Uh...it's the knife in his back."

I love that show. It challenges me. I try to find out who did the crime before they tell us. I got one right.

And it has a nice plot.

I was using your quote to say how old the anime Conan is in regards to the anime Full Metal Alchemist.

FMA having all those blonde haired characters with shiny eyes. Bleh.

I didn't see FMA there, my bad but to be fair their hair is blonde because they are really supose to be in Germany when they come to our world. So they are really germany.
