There's a red/yellow racing helmet in the store.

1,200 bells.

Go or no go?

Trying it on, it looks like its really big.

Not for myself and only if you haven't seen it before in the shop.

Also I changed my DS time, since it was off an hour and now the in game time went back an hour.

Anybody know a way to fix this?

It says(in the instruction booklet) to tap the phone icon when picking my character at the start of the game.
