PSO: Missing/Wrong Drop Rates and other Item Database Issues

Please post any items that are missing drops rates, or have an error in one of the rates. Also, this can be used to point out errors in spacing (drop rates should not have any spaces between the numbers on this site; it should be x/yyy, not x / yyy) and for noting rates that are still listed as %s (we are moving to full fractions). Please point what is wrong with the listing (such as: no drop rate, spaces, or possible wrong number).

This thread can also be used to post any other PSO related corrections that should be made. This includes grind info and guides.

I removed the extra Redria drop. Everything else seems ok.

Also, the Rappy Wing drops for certain IDs on Ultimate.

This is Oran and there is an Al Rappy under CCA in Hard mode, I don't think that is right. I think it's supposed to be a Meriltas.

That one was caused by an Item DB bug. It should be fixed now.

Yes, the gun does not have a special.

White ring's description on GC is as follows,
An inscription reads, "A pair of soldiers who hold this holy ring shall be blessed with quicker attacks."

And a couple other minor things..
Club of zumiuran special is storm, not tempest.
Fire scepter:agni has flame as a special attack.
Caduceus special attack is foie (though I am unsure of the exact level);Grants boost +10%

...I'll probably look into some others later.

The fire scepter does boost foie by 20%.

About the fan..I don't know the exact formula. But the special was only doing about 55% of the damage of a light attack(for reference, light attack did 198, special did 109dmg). ATA is probably lower as well, but I don't know for sure or how much. The special has mechgun range and can hit multiple targets.

Actually, Black ring is Minimum Kill TTF. Purple Ring is still Maximum Kill.

Not mentioned, but this weapon is similar to Pwand; when you cast a tech, tp is reduced and hp is taken. Where Pwand takes the full tp cost from your hp, Dark bridge only takes half the tp cost from your hp.
Example: Pwand equipped, rabarta is cast. It takes 20tp and 40 hp. Dark bridge would take 20tp and 20hp.
Also it allows megid to pierce, and boosts grants 10%. I notice it says such here,

It's not mentioned that this gun can hit multiple targets. The shots it fires (N H and S) can all pierce to hit multiple targets as long as they are lined up. (Similar to how snow queen special works) Only the projectile moves pretty slow...

Morning Glory's page states to look at a guide to determine it's ATP boost (given by beat time).

I think it might be a bit better to state that "Morning Glory gains 1 ATP every 4 beats passed 000" while also linking to the guide for the specific equation, as opposed to just linking to the guide.

Commander Uniform- The drop is from a Yowie, not a Satellite Lizard. Satellite Lizards drop Alliance Uniform, as far as I know. Maybe someone can confirm this- I found a Commander Uniform just now, but in a pack of Lizards/Yowies, so I can't say 100% what dropped it.

I 'think' the droprate is a bit too high too, tycho's site has it at between 1/8,511-1/10,403.

Just reading some excavation reports on psobb.com, it appears a few people have found Alliance Uniform from a VH/Ult Satellite Lizard, which would suggest the Commander Uniform is from the Yowie.

I'll keep looking, see if I can find out for sure.

Says the unit raises ata by 30 with kusanagi, but it shows atp +30 instead. Also, I don't know if it matters or not, but these units do not stack with one another. If you have multiple on, it still only adds 30 ata.

For rares, remember to do the Telepipe trick, it works with slimes and rappies. Remember that slimes will multiply when hit with the third attack of a combo, or with a Barta/Ice technique on normal, hard and very hard and Lightning/Zonde tech.multiply on ultimate.
...which is odd because I use Rabarta in all difficulties to split slimes.

I've updated the special for the Rage de Feu to be Unreduced Burning.

GrumblyStuff, I've typically also used Rabarta to split slimes in Ultimate. However, I'm going to leave this guide alone since I'm not sure who the author is. The author of this guide may feel that Zonde is more effective than Barta on Ultimate.

Did you note the effect of Dancing Hitogata?

It summons Hitogatas that surround you, up to a maximum of 5. When you use its attack, it sends the summoned Hitogatas in the direction which they're facing.

Just thought I'd let you know.

EDIT: Ketchup: The Greenill Temple So drop IS Shield.
EDIT 2: Maser Beam says it shoots "lighting", when it should be "lightning".

Depending on how you count items in PSO, you will end up with at least several hundred.

For PSU, the minimum count will at least exceed 1000.

I don't have one (wish I did), but I've recieved this information from people who have achieved this drop, so you'll have to take their word for it. (They're extremely credible sources, so I trust them)

I think it could be good if it would be noted at the item Database at Panzer Faust, that it can hit only one target per attack.

And at Baranz that it only hit 4 targets per Attack.

This isn't an issue, but more of a suggestion. I thought it would be handy if the drop charts had multiple filters for section ID, area, and difficulty. For example, if you only wanted to see what drops in Skyly Mines on VH, or Redria Temple on Ult. I don't know how difficult this would be to do, though.

Edit: Also, there's no drop rate for God/Power from a Hildetorr in Skyly Ultimate Temple.

2nd edit: It would also be nice if on the specific enemy parts pages, there was a link to the weapon it can be made into, and vice versa.

It's +175 ATP, +32 ATA (and not +475 ATP and +175 ATA...)

At this point, you probably won't see any big updates to the PSO Item Drop pages. They are purely in maintenance mode. If that page is ever overhauled, we'll see what we can do about adding some extra filters.

If I recall correctly, the Victor Axe was classified as a sword based on its animation.

After doing some research, the Victor Axe had a saber animation on V2. On Gamecube, it was switched to a Sword animation. The weapon type has been updated for V2.

For the Twin Blaze, I entered the data I could glean from the screenshots. I'm not sure what its final grind value is though.

Miles "Tails" Prower has confirmed this, he made a rod with tp regen using a FOnewearl, so the info on that page is wrong.

Also:
*Success % rates fluctuates slightly depending on difficulty
* Swords, daggers & partisans: multiple/extra chances of success rate (3-6 attacks/button press)
* Mechguns: 1/3 rate or 33.3% of max per bullet
* Slicers & shots: 1/5 rate or 20% of max per bullet or projectile

The last 2 are wrong, specials are not reduced, confirmation came from RandomHunter

Yeah, Twin Blaze max grind is 9 (on GameCube, at least). I own/grinded one.

Anyway, Gees drop Wals-MK2 for Greennills in VHard, 1/427. Also, Chaos Bringers don't drop anything better than Star Atomizers (same section ID/mode). Both entries are missing from the database, and are according to this (http://faqs.ign.com/articles/401/401972p1.html).

I'm not entirely sure if bumping rules apply to here or not, so sorry if they do, but I noticed that for the Double Saber, it says that you can only find it on VHard for Ep. 1 from the Caves, from the Nano Dragon, but you can also find it on Hard, from the same enemy, and I think it's actually a better drop rate. Not sure what it is though, sorry. I came here to check the drop rate for it, but it's.... well... missing.

You'll need to be more specific. There are several drop listings for Double Saber which includes the Very Hard Nano Dragon drop for several Section IDs. Which Section ID were you using when you found the Double Saber?

EDIT: I see the Double Saber can be dropped by Hard Mode Nano Dragons on the private servers. All of the other drop charts I looked at from the early Gamecube era don't make any mention of that drop though.

Weird. We just had a report of "Double Saber" dropping from Yellowboze Caves Nano Dragons a few weeks ago. The old entry used to be Brionac. I'll revert that drop information for now.

Basic rare weapons(like DB's saber or Varista) use similar design of general weapons in old PSO.
Therefore, as the extension of general weapons, basic rare weapons have reduced EX attack like general weapons in EP1&2 or BB.

The rarity of Double Saber is 9, but it is not basic rare weapon, and the special is Mind.

It's probably a moot point anyhow, seeing as how five additional Section IDs can find HP/Revival as well. HP/Restorate isn't bluefull-exclusive either.(or rare, for that matter)

Also, the HP/Restorate page links to the "Rare Items Specific To 1 Section ID" page at the bottom, but the HP/Revival page does not. (edit: struck that last bit; also a moot point. glad I read my post again)

For V101, you have the description read that it gives a +1 ATA boost, while the stat listings show a +2. I believe that the description is correct, so the stat listings should be changed to show this.

The v101 gives +1.5 ata, not +1 ata only. Although you can't see the 0.5 physically, ingame exists.
