Downstairs(parents) computer has a weird spyware thing I never saw before. The background says COMPUTER IS INFECTED, and there is a little icon where the AIM, MSN, volume icons are, it is a big red circle with an X in it. Says computer is infected, spyware stuff like that. I never saw this before any info?

I've never come across that before. My advice would be to not let your parents touch the computer. 80% of the messed up PCs out there are from parents who don't know what they're doing.

Adaware won't do jack to get rid of this http://pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_razz.gif He is infected with Spyaxe.

Check out this THREAD (http://www.webuser.co.uk/forums/showflat.php?Number=237244) for some good info and removal instructions.

Also check out this THREAD (http://www.geekstogo.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=84236&st=0&p=481962&#entry481962) and this THREAD (http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/forums/topic36868.html) for more info.

Spyaxe is nasty and hard to detect but it can be removed.
