This rant came mostly from today at tennis. I was beating my half-brother senseless (niether of us play at all), then my Dad pulls some "stupid" rule, and keeps making them. I lost to entire sets becasue of this. Then I came home to look up the rules, and they wern't there... I'm 14, and my 1/2 bro is 20, so logically I sould get slack (I wouldn't want it anyway...).
Also, at school, me and my friend are the smartest in the class. When our teacher plays review "games" we can't be on the same team.
Yet another example,
I have to run more laps in our PE class because I can run a mile in 5:40.
All these things just tick me off. They say to be the best you can be, but then you are just repremanded for it. Sometimes I think I should just stop trying...

Don't stop trying, those people are trying to help you, and others.
You: By recieving handicaps, you're skill will increase. Example, more laps in gym, more rules in tennis.
People: Spreading out you and your friend in class, gives the chance that your "smarts" will rub off on other students, thus causing them to grow as well. And you also, to some extent.
Don't sweat it, what doesn't kill you only makes you stronger. Yeah, it's cliched, but it's damn true.
Good luck. http://pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_smile.gif

Well do you do all those things for recreational purposes or are you serious about both of the activities you listed?
If you're getting an A in that class I don't think it should be a big deal if she tries to split you guys up.
I can understand where you're coming from though. If you do those sports just for fun they shouldn't push you that hard. If it's for competitive purposes (on the track team or tennis team) than that's another story, they are trying to improve your skills.

Or... to be more precise, the slackers get to slack off while you do all the work. Jolly! http://pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_wink.gif
