suck ass game

Got this game called Evergrace for my ps2 the other day.

OMFG IT SUCKS!!!

First of all, i've seen better graphics on a ps1 game.
second,the battle system made me wonder what they were somking when they made it.
third,the storyline was the most disgraceful,random,peice of SHIT!! I have ever spent time on.
next,the music sounded like a retarted 3-year-old made it
*sigh*
finally,the people that did the voice-overs should be shot...
Over all,I almost cried playing this game.

You should check around on the net/friends/magazines, maybe get a rough idea of reviews before shelling out.

Those rate it as 'mediocre' to 'decent'. From those screenshots Ive seen, the graphics are pretty awful for PS2, but bad graphics can be easily redeemed with good gameplay. Doesn't look like the kind of game I'd enjoy, but there's probably quite a lot of fans. Hell, I play Front Mission 3 religiously, and that's got bad graphics for PS1, being a turn-based strategy! To each his own I guess, some will love what others will despise.

5 years old would mean it was released 2000-2001, the PS2 hadn't been out long then remember.

Anyway:

1) The PS2 isn't as powerful as some people think it is. Sure, it's ok, but nothing spectacular.

2) Graphics don't make a game.

Yes, I hated Silent Scope 2, since I couldn't even use a lightgun for it. Not amused at that.

I'd never even heard of Evergrace until now (probably for the best it seems)
