Hello! : )

I still have some questions about PSU I was hoping some of you could answer. I read through the FAQ and apologize in advance if I just missed the answers to these..

1. Will PC and PS2 people be able to play together? (As in, if I get the PC version and my friends get the PS2 version - will I be able to play with them at all? .. ever?)

2. I haven't seen any mention anywhere of a job system (like do we still have hunter/ranger/force-types or is it completely open or depending on race now? Or do the organizations play into this? Sorry - didn't quite catch that anywhere.. ) or section IDs.. do they still exist? If so on section IDs.. how will they work this time around?

3. This is kind of out of my own oddness here but.. Does anyone know if any of the PSO or older PS characters will make cameos atleast?

4. In offline mode, I've seen where you can change Ethan's clothing etc... Um.. is there any way to change his hair? ..I'm a bit of an older player so.. it'd be nice to make him not always look like 'yon punk kid hero' http://pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/anime2.gif

1. Sources say yes.

2. No class restriction. Choose your race then play with whatever game style you like. Still not sure how stats & weapon usage will play out, but, still sounds pretty free-system based.

3. No mention of returning NPCs, but, you never know.

4. No word on his hair style changing, but, you never know.

The cross-compatibility news was revealed early last month in an IGN article. Our news article is found here:

To answer your questions 3 and 4,

as for 3) That's not an odd question at all. I love the older games. I think it'd be great to see SOME kind of cameo related to them. Even though we know that the story is in no way related to older games (Stated in an IGN interview, so this is official), that may not stop them from throwing in a little cameo. Afterall, we did see chu-chu rocket and chao mags along with quite a few other kind of cameos in PSO, right? It's possible.

and 4) I was actually wondering the same thing, but so far there hasn't been any proof that we can change Ethan's hair. It'd be pretty cool if you could, but the devs probably don't want players to be able to deviate too much from the origional Ethan and end up making a brand new looking character, you know?

I would like if they didnt connect Ps2 Servers to PC Servers,i'm a PC player my PC will always play better then my PS2..But i really think they have there own servers not connected.Ps2 Players are usaslly just made levelers and..A holes not all but 80 precent of them.PC has there assholes but usaslly not as much.So i wouldnt want them connected and for battle..Wouldnt it be too much of a different type? Not really fair.

Oh well if it happes it happens.
PC versions are always better then console gameing though.
