need help from anime junkies

went to otakon2005 and there was a guy there with this headband on with this symbol on it http://www.merseybroadband.com/uploads/power%20button%201.jpgyea thats the power button for a computer but its that symbol. told me it was a really good anime and that i should check it out i forget what it was called if anyone can assist me please i'd be most greatful

How do you know it's a good anime... far as you know, they might think dragon ball z is a good anime. (the udder thought of them ranting out their sexual frustration was enough for me to stop watching.)

But a power button? Must have something to do with computers or mechanical devices, no?
