What rares would yall like to see?

I'm all for having oldstyle flintlock pistols that shoot lead bullets, Katanas with metal blades, Revolvers that shoot regular bullet and Muskets that shoot regular bullets.

Also, a guitar for a melee weapond would be awesome.

BAM! I have to agree, but rares that have some Unique abilities that arn't so....stereotypical, (ie Heaven's Rain, not that I got anything against it).

I would also LOVE to see COMPLETELY UNIQUE as in 1 in all existance. It would appear on everyone's game, just perminantly dissappear after it is found. Cause then you would have people with complete differences. Completely 1 of a kind characters.

Well, there are these new laser shot weps. I doubt you can dual wield them. Looks like they have a pretty accurate laser with a scope. It tells me that youll probably only be able to use 1 at a time.

Casts should have grenades, because they're similar to traps in that they have a timer and explode. Damage Grenades=Damage traps, flash grenades=confuse traps, freeze grenades=ice traps.

I like where youre going with this DM. Of course then, youd need higher accuracy to really nail the trajectory points. The prob with a trap is that you can set it in the wrong place. However, with a grenade it can end up in a really random place. OOOoooo...I thought of gernades a little bit ago but the cast thing is good....Now, my idea is that humans can have Gernade Launchers. The launcher would be really rare for compensation and have limited ammo, while the cast's regenerate over time.

I'd love to see some of the old PSO rares around this time around, the more interesting ones atleast, we could all do without the 9 star rares that you start to just leave on the field after a while.

Other than a few returning rares, I don't want to see all the same things, itd turn into a PSO with updated graphics. I want some completely new rares. With the dual wielding features they have a great opportunity to make rare combo sets, that would be pretty kickace. I'd like to see more rare sword types, they didn't have many in PSO.

Kingdom Hearts wasn't the first to use a "keyblade" as a weapon, if you look at Mr. Game&Watch in SSBM, his down attack is a keyblade. That would still be awesome anyway. They should add an item that lets you turn into the enemies, that would rock.

Well the reason why sabers had such a broad scope is because they're usuable by any class.
As for the wep delima, both of saber and sword catagories dwarfed the rare Force weapons on pso.. and most consider a weapon rare when it has a red box and can only be sold for 10 meseta. :|

Well....actually I though of this a little earlier but I didn't want to post it but I had a more specific idea. Like SPECIFIC fighting styles can be learned, think DOA (minus counters and what not) and you have some awsome fighting styles.

It would be cool if different knuckles in the game gave different fighting stances, and the same for claws too. That way they'd be like a rare DRUNKEN MASTER knuckle that you could pick up and beat people up drunk style, woop.

Well, IF there were a Drunken style in the game (which I doubt) you gotta remember, its not all hands. The Drunken style is about catching your opponent off guard when he/she thinks you are. Hands are used, yes, but, there are quite a few kick & leg moves. Knowing when to move slow & when to move fast is 1 of the keys in Drunken Mastery. Hmmm, someone who can move slow or fast at will. I would like to see so many PSO weapons Remade with better PSU Graphics. (Regardless of how weak they were, Flowens Sword, DB's Saber, The Infamous J-Sword, King Monkey Bar, Lavis Cannon, Double Saber and Stag Cutlery, Heart of Poumn, Blade Dance (that weapon could have looked so much cooler than it did if they modeled it right), Morning Glory, Sange/Yasha, The Mushasis, That FF7 looking Buster Sword and so many others need to be redone, because they looked so cool)

As for new ones, i want to see TONS of new Katanas and Non-Photon edged weapons, as well as some Photon Weapons that are over the edge. (Maybe a Non Photon Edged Katana that like has lightning sparking through it)

Huge Photon Claws

Claws that like have these huge mechanical things that run up your whole arm

And the coolest weapon i can think of, is a sword with an AWSOME looking handle with an orb in the middle, and this huge, long, dark looking metal blade with decals over it, ridged edges, looks heavy, and has a Dark aura spiking out of it.

And does like 4000 dmg. Pwnt.

Ah yes, the Stag Cutlery. I would definately like to see the return of that wep or something similar to it. It was probably my favorite melee weapon. Stag Cutlery was really awesome and would be a kick ass addition to the PSU rare weps list. Another PSO wep I'd like to see is the Spread Needle. That thing was freakin' sweet. It was in a class of its own. And you had some pretty sweet ideas, Essintrical. A flamethrower would be hella awesome. Another thing I'd like to see would be Shurikens. I mean, what could possibly be funner than loading enemies up with those little 'Chinese Stars'??? http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_smile.gif And when it comes to throwing weps, I hope that you'll actually see them stuck in the enemy (like needles from the Spread).

Grass Assasin's Sabers should make a comeback! (Too bad we don't know for sure Grass Assasins be in the game) Alot of these ideas are asking to be shot down. Copywrite infringement (sp?) for one, not cohereing (again, sp?) to the 20 weapon type limit, and just being too cool for ST to want to put in the game. Try to stay in the legal limit for imagination.

Slingshot can also be considered projectile since youre launching a small rock, which could just as easily be thrown (but you wouldnt get the range that you would with a slingshot).

OK OK, so anyway...RARES. I agree that there should be some nice metallic bladed ones to complement all the photonry. Classic Asian blades would be nice: Chinese, Japanese, etc. Then, if you wanted to give maybe a photon aura to the blade, surrounding it with an element, that wouldnt be so bad. The color, as we know, would reveal what element. Yet, the classic style of metal folding would still be present.

As for telekenetic powers, its alot to ask of a game that STILL doesnt allow us to JUMP. Im not expecting psychic powers anytime soon in PSU. If they did come, who would get them? That would be a debate in itself.

I know, its commonly spelled as katar (as thats how its pronounced), but, qatar (to my knowledge) is the original spelling. They are unusual weapons & do some pretty lethal damage. Personally, I don't want to see jumping, because have you seen how high videogame characters can jump these days? It is completely unrealistic. It may be PHANTASY Star, but jumping would simply make it a jump in and attack, then run away game.

I dont want unrealistic Matrix type jumping. I just think if chars were given regular jumping, you could incorporate more into the environments. Jumping to another lvl to find an item or rescue a hostage, for example. Its not something that would be done over & over for fear of boredom. However, it would aid your char in certain circumstances. I wont get mad if its not in the game. Id just welcome it should it be implemented (which I doubt).

I personaly like to rip things apart with my bare hands. I always favor hand to hand weapons, but the fist weapons in PSO frankly did just not cut it. The only thing that was good was a God Hand and finding a legit one (im very picky about that) took a long time. If they start to put some focus into that area, I would like to really see some sort of martial arts going on haha.

And please... this time around you shouldn't have to have a particualar id to find the type of special weapon u really want or need like PSO- it's just too stressful.

They game MST to all classes to be fair, but they should also do something about the drops. I do agree that a very FEW amount of special weapons should be according to Section ID (If they still adapt that...) but this time around... it shouldn't be reallly strong ones, but alternatives to the strong ones every ID can find...

Yeah, the Supressed Gun was hella cool. Yep. Supressed is the coolest handgun in the game. You know, for futuristic looking ones. Yaz ones are nice too (wish I owned 'em). As for the katana weps, Id like to see swords made of both photon & metal. That way I can choose what I want to use: 1 or the other.

IT IS THE COOOLEST GUN EVER! My Brother found it the first time we actually started playing on Very Hard and he found it from a love rappy on hard mode with a REDRIA ID- it was the second gun besides the most annoying gun... the V A R I S T A (*runs from the horror)
