Tetris needs no explanation. Online too. Up to ten.

I literally choked on my saliva when I found the article. >_>;;

Oh well, somewhere between mario kart ds, Animal Crossing, and Tetris in two months, I won't be doing much homework anytime soon. http://pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_wacko.gif

Can you just link to the articles instead of copying pasting 90% of a post? Your asshattery might be enough to ruin a thread about tetris, the best game evar. Link to an article, type up a post response to it. Post the link and your reply to it. Mmkay?

In other news. I hope they use both screens for this tetris. I didn't really like the vertical puzzle block style game only using one screen (see: meteos) I mean, it's as close to the vertical arcade version the original started on. For all that is holy, use both screens to pile blocks and other junk. >_>;

.. keep mkds in other threads. Tetris > j00

March 20 seems so far away. :/

Who knew that they were called Tetriminos? http://pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_eek.gif

Also how is Nicktoons on DS a RELATED article?

2 to 4 player online. Sounds like a fun time.
How exactly will the touch screen be incorporated?

There's really only 4 controlling movements. Accelerate(down), left to right, and rotate (clockwise or counter clockwise).

It seems that the touch screen will make it faster to move things where you want them to though. Perhaps they'll add those "bomb" blocks as I've seen in a previous version of Tetris, and touch them to explode a la Meteos?

The themed levels sound like a nice touch as well to keep things a bit more interesting, especially if the music is also themed from Metroid or Zelda.

I can just imagine, playing Tetris, and heading the "item found" sounds from Metroid or Zelda when I get a tetris... >_>

While you guys are waiting for a DS release, try a PC version that has been here since forever. I play this whenever I take breaks from PSO:

http://www.tetrinet.org

Download the Blocktrix client. Use tetrinet.org as the server. There's a good amount of people there, and they have a variation of Tetris (called cookies) in which you use specials to attack your players. Incredibly chaotic and fun - and most of all - FREE.
