First, let me say "hi folks". It's been a long time since I've been on this forum. I used to post here way back when... under a different name (which I will keep to myself). I was a PSO player from the original Dreamcast version, and played all the versions up to Ep. III at which point my interest started to wane, and my job ate heavily into my free time, so I drifted away from PSO.
Anyway, I was wandering around my local game retailer yesterday and I noticed a big in-store display area with some familiar looking images. They were advertising Phantasy Star Universe about which I know practically nothing as I haven't really kept up to date on PSO news. I forget the release date, but I think it was around mid-Feb. (I live in Japan, in case you haven't figured that out!)
Anyway, it aroused my interest enough to wander over to PSO World to see how many people are going to be playing PSU, especially anyone who might be importing. Although I speak reasonable Japanese, it's always more enjoyable to play in your first language, so a good community of English players would be a major influence on me buying the game.
Forgive me if there's a thread about this somewhere. I had a quick look but didn't see an obvious one. So... anyone going to play the Japanese version?
