I wonder what drove mario to it. Possibly Peach's cheaping out on the rewards for saving her life?

Nintendo is going to name their own direction, how?

By hiring Outrider. Damn did he have some nifty ideas they haven' thought of yet in the rumor thread I made way back when. http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_yes.gif

Actually, I think the Outrider has already appeared in an N64 game.

That's not the same as being a designer/consultant/or developer of Nintendo products.

What kind of N64 game has Outrider in it?

Winback?

I love Winback. Part MGS, part shootathon, 3rd person view, Resident Evil 4 style aiming and red laser sight, kicks(!) as a melee attack to hit enemies beofre shooting them, shotguns, chain gun turrets, machine guns, etc.

Bottom line

WINBACK is better than JOO.

Find it and play it through, twice.

I still can't find that game.

It came out on PS2 as well. Fun game, took me a while to get used to the controls but its hardcore once you do.

Well the n64 version was hotter seeing how it cost twice as much and was released two years prior. http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_wacko.gif

But the gameplay better with the N64 pad.

Trigger + lots of buttons, but simplified control scheme = tons of fun.
