Hey guys, I need your advice :3

Ok, lately I've been thinking about getting contacts, but I dunno, a lot of people say I look better with glasses, but I think I look better without them. Since I'm gonna assume everyone knows what I look like with my glasses on, here it is, Ryan without glasses, I even brushed my hair to the side.

It doesn't matter right now though, since my left eye is all screwed up without my glasses on(Cosmetically!), you can kinda see what I mean, it looks like my left eye is looking off to the side, it doesn't look like a huge deal or a deal at all from this picture, but it happens! Soooo, I wouldn't be able to get contacts til I get surgery on the left eye, and for that I have to wait til May, and then however long a waiting period it is til I can get it done(FREE HEALTHCARE, FTW?).

I posted it in FKL, since all of you guys rock more than off topic dwellers :3


Just to note for party poopers:
I'm pretty sure of what I'm going to do, I just wanna show off me without glasses, so what you d00ds say probably won't affect my decision.

Mmm!

Contacts are excellent, but take quite a bit of getting used to.

If you're paranoid about taking care of them you need to,

-Take them off _every_ night to soak in cleaning solution. This may not sound bad, but after failing the first 30 times to comfortably shove little pieces of plastic into your eye you'll see the downside to this.
-replacing them every month.

Most boxes contain 3 pairs of contacts, and usually range from $20-50. Purchasing new lenses for your glasses costs considerably less in the long run. So think about that if this cash is coming out of your own pocket.

The price also depends on your prescription, I believe. The higher it is, the higher the price. My own contacts are about $50 a box, so a years worth is a hefty $200. Clear vision contacts are good for those who sleep with them in the eye, supposedly, so if you only want to take the time to let them soak every week or so you may want to ask about them.
